Types of Weapons in World of Warcraft

Weapons can be broken down into three different types: ranged, one-handed, and two-handed weapons. Certain classes can wield two different weapons in each hand, so long as they’re both one-handed weapons. Ranged weapons, in particular, are two-handed weapons as well.    Swords are perhaps the most versatile weapon in this list, as they can be used by multiple classes. There are one-handed and two-handed swords to pick from. Two-handed swords deal more damage, but do not come with the option to have an off-handed item such as a shield for players to equip and protect themselves with. One-handed swords, on the other hand, offer more versatility in terms of usage and are usually preferred by new players as it is the most familiar to them.

   Bows are the most common ranged weapons in World of Warcraft, but that doesn’t mean they’re out of style. They’re a little more complicated to acquire though, as unlike guns that can be crafted, bows must either be bought, looted, or earned by completing certain quests in the game.
