World of Warcraft has been around for more than ten years. And with millions of players and five expansions, it seems like one of the biggest MMOs the world has ever known isn't about to stop anytime soon, as its sixth expansion, Legion, is slated for release on in the first half of 2016. And for players, there are a lot of reasons to be excited about it. But what about those who have yet to make a WoW account?
Well, before we get to that, let's first list the many reasons to be excited for World of Warcraft: Legion.
Reasons To Make A WoW Account Before World of Warcraft: Legion
One of the new places that will be included in World of Warcraft: Legion would be the Tomb of Sargeras. This is something to be excited about, whether you're more into the raiding or the lore. And if you're not into the latter and have played World of Warcraft without playing Warcraft III first, you should know that the eponymous place is where the Dark Titan Sargeras is buried. A powerful entity, he commands the Burning Legion, a massive group of demons that are responsible for the events of Warcraft II and III, especially the birth of The Lich King, and ultimately the Undead.
Another great addition to the game that the expansion will bring would be the new “hero” class: the Demon Hunter. That can only mean Illidan Stormrage, the Burning Crusade's main villain, will be back, and will be getting himself some new students. The Demon Hunter class also signals the return of race- specific classes, as the game, which did away with Paladins being exclusive to the Alliance and Shamans being exclusive to the Horde, will be making the class exclusively for Night Elves and Blood Elves. In addition, the Demon Hunter will be the first class able to double-jump. That alone should be a good reason to play the class.
But of course, the game has no plans for leaving all the other classes in this future massive update. In fact, all classes will be getting a much-needed boost thanks to two new features: artifact weapons and order halls. The former are class-specific weapons that level up and are both upgradeable and customizable, giving your class an edge over the others. And speaking of edge, order halls will now be the new venue of each class to band together and further bolster their abilities.
Last but definitely not the least, the game hasn't had a neutral city-state, where players from both sides of the faction can stay in without fear of conflicts, since Wrath of the Lich King, which was three expansions ago. Thankfully, Blizzard will now be reopening Dalaran, the floating magical city of Northrend. Pretty cool place to chill in.
So, what are you waiting for? With all those things, you better make a WoW account now, and catch up with all of this new and upcoming content.
