What is the Black Knight?
Simply put, the Black Knight is one of the most coveted costumes to ever be released in Fortnite. As the name suggests, it’s the type of skin that could pass off as an armor covered in soot. It’s got an armored knight that prominently features a black helm, a black vest, and black pants.
But wait! An armored knight fully equipped with a jetpack? Does that even make sense? Of course not! But in a game based on no-holds-barred fun like Fortnite, it’s not supposed to. Its job is to make your character look uber fun and totally ass-kickin’ and it does a good job at that!
The Black Knight comes as part of Fortnite’s Knight Set. Its counterparts in the set include the Red Knight, Crimson Axe, Black Shield, and Royale Shield among others. To get this Tier 70 Battle Pass reward from the historical 2nd season of Fortnite, you had to purchase the Season 2 Battle Pass from the Cash Shop and promptly level it up to 70. They saved the best for last as no other reward followed after the Black Knight. As this outfit is no longer available and doesn’t seem to be making a comeback in the foreseeable future, it is considered to be among the rarest skins in the game.
