Reins of the Llothien Prowler

The normal way to obtain this prowling mount is to complete the Volpin the Elusive quest. Afterward, completing the quest will reward the mount.

Reins of the Grand Expedition Yak

Like the Mighty Caravan Brontosaur, this yak mount also offers trade NPCs when summoned. More than that, it’s the only mount to offer portal transmogrification services. Another difference from the dino mount it has is its capacity for two other people! That’s right, the Grand Expedition Yak can carry up to three players to whatever destination desired.

Players can buy this mount from Uncle Bigpocket for 120k gold. He has a shop in the Kun-Lai Summit in the Townlong Steppes.

Invincible’s Reins

A hybrid ground and flying mount, Invincible is truly a mount to be desired. It is the beloved steed of Arthas Menethil who became the Lich King. There’s even an actual headstone players can visit for this steed. Even as the Lich King, Arthas doesn’t seem to want to let go of its reins.

Defeating the Lich King is the only way to get Invincible. The real problem is its 0.77% chance of dropping, plus the fact that it only drops on the Heroic 25-man mode. That means 24 other players are all vying for it. That’s two fights, one for the boss, and the other among the party when rolling for it. It’s a mount that lives up to its reputation.

About Bind on Pickup Mounts
