Why Trainers Look for Legendary Pokemon for Sale

Legendary Pokemon are a type of Pokemon that are not only present in Pokemon Go but the games and animated series of the Pokemon franchise as well. Trainers love getting Legendary Pokemon, and it’s not all just for show. The reason being is that Legendary Pokemon are harder to get the normal Pokemon. They can’t just be obtained or caught through normal means such as catching them in the wild or hatching eggs. The only way to get a Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon is to participate in a Raid Battle. Once trainers have defeated the Legendary Pokemon in that battle, there will be a Bonus Challenge where they can attempt to catch it. The process is easier said than done, though. First of all, defeating a Legendary Pokemon in a Raid Battle is no joke. Trainers will have to group up and use their strongest Pokemon in their arsenal if they want to be able to get to the Bonus Challenge. Even if they do get the chance to catch it afterward, that doesn’t mean that they’ll automatically get it. Legendary Pokemon are much harder to catch compared to the standard Pokemon trainers see out in the wild randomly. Using a specialized type of Pokeballs such as an Ultra Ball or a Great Ball can certainly help, but it’s easy to waste a ton of them for just one Legendary Pokemon.

Catching Legendary Pokemon requires trainers to shed a lot of resources. Not to mention, Raid Battles only happen once. If they lose, they’ll have to find another Raid Battle to join and wait for other trainers to participate. Currently, there are 35 Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Go with 34 of them available to catch through Raid Battles. There’s no news yet if Niantic has plans to add even more Legendary Pokemon in the future, but trainers are hoping that Legendary Pokemon of the future generations will be added in.

What to Know About All Legendary Pokemon

Let’s be real here, not every Legendary Pokemon is created equally. That’s what makes Pokemon in general so special. The difference between their strength of the attack, usefulness in PvP and Raid Battles, as well as the diversity of their move sets is what makes every Pokemon unique. Of course, the same applies to Legendary Pokemon as well. However, there are some characteristics that all Legendary Pokemon have in common. For starters, they cannot be assigned to guard a Gym. Gyms in Pokemon Go are a staple and each trainer has a chance of trouncing a Gym Leader in their area by defeating the Pokemon they left behind. Putting a Legendary Pokemon at a Gym is just unfair and will result in players that have lots of Legendary Pokemon a monopoly. As a result, Niantic has decided to not allow the usage of Legendary Pokemon in Gyms. Another thing to note is that all Legendary Pokemon can be traded via Special Trade. Special Trade is another type of trading exclusively for Legendary Pokemon. Both trainers who are looking to trade Legendary Pokemon will have to use a lot of Stardust if they want to initiate a Special Trade, so it’s important that they only use this process if they are sure that they want to trade their Legendary Pokemon.
