The Tabard of the Protector, a cosmetic item, is part of a limited-time quest for the pre-patch update to The Burning Crusade expansion in WoW Classic. Getting this item involves completing a quest during the opening of the Dark Portal, which will go away once TBC goes live. This guide will show you how to earn this tabard and get its unique effect.
Into The Breach Quest
Before you can take the quest, you must first be level 60. To get started on this quest, head to the Blasted Lands and go towards the Dark Gate. Speak to Agent Proudwell at the camp and accept the Into The Breach quest. He will task you to kill 8 Invading Felguard, which are fairly easy to kill.
Once you reach your kill quota, return to Agent Proudwell, and he will reward you with the Tabard of the Protector. Using the Tabard gives you a unique emote where you flex while a Holy Nova blasts around you. Be quick, as you only have until the official release of TBC to complete the quest.
