Yes. Once you've completed the Inferno once, you can re-enter the challenge to obtain additional capes. Those can be traded to the TzHaar-Ket-Keh for a chance to obtain the Jal-Nib-Rek pet, or sacrificed for Tokkul.

What happens if a character dies during the Inferno?

The Inferno is considered a safe death, meaning items are not lost upon dying within the arena. However, a death ends the attempt immediately, meaning you'll need to restart from Wave 1.
