Four New Vehicles for WARDOGS Season 2
- Wolf-110 and Wolf-110 (M2 Browning): Fast, light wheeled transport. Russian-style jeep that holds the M2 Browning .50 cal.
- T-72B3: Russian-style MBT that is slower and cheaper than the L2A6.
- Flakpanzer Gepard: Dedicated anti-air vehicle that uses specialized bullets instead of rockets.
3 More Buildables
- MG Nest: A player-manned M2 Browning.
- Large Shelter: A large metal shelter. Useful for covering strong points exposed from the top.
- Wooden Step: Wooden stairs to create larger towers inside FOBs.
- The Molotov
Like most FPS games, WARDOGS finally adds the famous cocktail. You can throw the Molotov overhand or underhand; it sets anyone caught in its area on fire and can also burn certain foliage.
Gameplay and System Changes added in WARDOGS Season 2
Team Balancing and Team-Kill Punish and Forgive System
Several QoL and balance changes were added to discourage players from switching teams and griefing. Before switching teams, players must first wait 15 minutes and must reach the control zone.
The Team-Kill Punish and Forgive system lets victims of team-kill instances forgive or punish the offender. Punish results in the offending player receiving a warning and a mark; once enough marks are accumulated, repeat offenders can be kicked and banned. Forgive removes a potential mark from the offender without any strings attached.
Rain Weather Preset
Weather is still not dynamic in WARDOGS; it's a preset. Rain affects more than just the game's ambiance and visuals. It can muffle footsteps outside, and thunder can make sneaking into FOBs much easier. While raining, spotting range is reduced, and the molotovs burn much less.
Wager Vendor (Later in Season 2)
A brand-new NPC lets players bet on their own in-game performance. The system won't be available every season, and its Season 2 implementation is highly experimental. This lets players go big or go bust entirely on their match performance.
