RuneScape (RS) is perhaps everyone’s favorite MMORPG. Being able to run RS without having to go through the trouble of installing this extraordinary game makes it beyond appealing to all.
Party Hats and Santa Hats are used to hold large sums of cash, because the gold coin limit is 2.147B and these hats can help players add to their wealth over time. Due to their rarity, these items hold a much higher street value than their value on the Grand Exchange. Whereas, their high price has also helped them become recognized as a symbol of wealth in the game by most players.
While RS remains popular amongst plenty of gamers, the game features several rare items that most of us are always itching to get our hands on. Party Hats and Santa Hats are the two of the most sought-after items. While these discontinued rare items cannot be obtained through the game and Jagex (the inventor of the game) has expressed that he does not intend to recreate the effect these hats had on the game, trading is the only way for players to acquire these items.
With the ever-increasing value of these items, it is has become important for players to obtain them along with other rare items, such as Christmas crackers, Easter eggs, Rainbow Cape, and others.
Purchasing a rare RS3 item is a lot more than just a commodity – it is an actual investment. Considering the high demand and scarce availability, obtaining these items is extremely difficult and time consuming. Looking for a way to acquire rare items without wasting any time? We suggest that you buy RuneScape items from a trusted external source, like PlayerAuctions.
PlayerAuctions makes it safe to buy from our members by securing your payment and guaranteeing delivery.
How does it work?
How will the seller deliver?
Option 1: In-game, Face to Face Delivery
Sellers will select this method of delivery if they intend to meet your character in-game with one of their own characters. Usually a seller will coordinate a time and location in-game to meet your character.
Option 2: In-game Mailbox delivery.
Some sellers will select the option to deliver gold or items directly to an in-game mailbox. This option is less popular for larger Games like WoW, but is still viable amongst other games. This option can be convenient for smaller orders because you do not need to coordinate time of delivery.
Why should I buy on PlayerAuctions?

RuneScape has stood the test of time and become one of the longest running MMORPG's ever. From its inception, RuneScape was an underground hit with gamers all over the world. People began to flock to the game as a new alternative to other MMORPGs that were beginning to flood the market. In RuneScape, anyone could play, anyone could get access, and anyone could become powerful. Engaging gameplay and high skill customizability made RuneScape one of the most played MMORPGs on the market due to the sheer freedom it provided.
Previously RuneScape had been critically blasted for having extremely outdated graphics, and many outdated forms of gameplay. However, in 2013, RuneScape 3 was released with completely updated graphics, a revised interface, and more. Many players revolted against this decision, but over time the player base has begun to enjoy the new style and feel of RuneScape. Due to the low performance requirements, RuneScape has continued to thrive in a world of high end gaming computers because it's a game that anyone with a computer can jump in and play, and it is so much fun!
Like all MMORPGS, the biggest part of the game is collecting the absolute best and most prolific gear the player can find. In RuneScape this can range from the mythical party hat, the kiln cape, and the RuneScape Santa hat, to the powerful Drygore Longsword. Many of these items can no longer be earned in the game and must be either traded for, or purchased from other players. This is where PlayerAuctions comes in, by using PlayerAuctions, the mythical party hat can be yours in no time.
Party Hats were released as part of an event in 2001 that allowed players to collect items such as Christmas crackers and RuneScape Partyhats during the holiday season. The hats were obtained by pulling a Christmas cracker with another player and were solely for decoration purposes.
Sixteen years since their introduction, Partyhats have become one of the most valuable items in the game, and hold extremely high value. Exceeding way beyond the 2.1 billion gold limit, Party Hats are currently being used by RS players to hold more than the set 2,147,483,647 in their inventory.
Partyhats can no longer be traded on the Grand Exchange – the in-game trading feature to trade a Party Hat.
The following are the different types of Party Hats available for purchase:
It all started when on December 25, 2002, Santa Hats randomly appeared on the ground throughout the game. Believe it or not; players were allowed to pick up as many Santa Hats as they wanted. The hats initially added a +3 to magic, which was removed when the game transitioned to RuneScape 2.
In 2015, through an update to the Christmas event in the game, players were allowed to combine the hats with a beard to offer a complete cosmetic look to the character. While the hats no longer carried any stats, they become a valuable item for players to collect and boast about.
The Black Santa Hat is another rare item in RuneScape. This (now) discontinued item was introduced as part of a mini-event, 15 Days of Christmas, and was offered from December 20, 2013 to January 3, 2014.
