Final Fantasy XIV’s second limited job, the Beastmaster, has arrived in Patch 7.56. Just like the Blue Mage, this solo focused job lets you roam Eorzea taming wild creatures to build your roster, test your skills in the Crucible of the Unbroken, and battle alongside various beasts. Before you begin your encounters, you’ll need to fill out your Master Bestiary by catching and defeating monsters in battle. How to Unlock Beastmaster in FFXIV
To unlock the Beastmaster job, you’ll need to meet 3 requirements: Own the Dawntrail expansion, reach Level 50 on at least one combat job, and complete the Main Scenario Quest, “The Ultimate Weapon.” Once you met all the requirements, head to the New Gridania (X: 11.8, Y: 13.6) and speak to the Excited Adventurer to start the quest “Strangers in the Wood.”
Master Bestiary Locations in FFXIV
To log a monster in your Master Bestiary, cast Catch on the target before defeating it. Once caught, all registered beasts can be assigned to your summoning horns. To help you out, here’s a checklist of all beast in the Bestiary and where to catch them.
