Farever Class Tier List

In any MMORPG, your class is the most important decision you will make. The class you choose dictates your playstyle, what equipment you can equip, and what your role will be in group content. In Farever, this is taken even further thanks to its combat system, where positioning and timing are important.

All Classes in Farever Ranked

Farever has 4 classes that players can choose from, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. What really makes each class stand out from the others is the game's Arsenal system. This system lets you equip an item that gives an extra ability or has effects that synergize extremely well with your Talents and Skills.

S-Tier

Priest - Best Overall

In most MMORPGs, the priest class is often assumed to be a support role or a tanky role, but in Farever, it's the class that can do it all. It can deal amazing amounts of damage while tanking and healing all at once, thanks to certain weapons. The Amon Ram, the Creator, is a one-handed hammer that skyrockets your DPS. Its passive is called Blessing, which essentially guarantees 3 crit strikes. Pair this with Smite and Ram Veil, and all your attacks will be crits while giving yourself healing. No other class has this level of sustain and comfort for solo play.

Other than having crazy amounts of damage and healing, the Priest also has access to a skill called Faithful Winds. This ability massively increases players' movespeed inside the zone and persists for a while after they leave. Using this skill makes exploration much smoother and can also help dodge enemies.

A-Tier

Warrior

Playing as a Warrior in Farever is as safe as you can get. It's naturally durable thanks to skills like Ignore Pain, which reduces the amount of damage you take by 40% for 12 seconds. The class is similar to most Warrior classes in other MMOs, with similar effects like increasing your damage the lower your health, or being able to stun and CC groups of enemies. Being a Warrior in Farever isnt just about tanking. Warriors can use the skill Burst of Anger. This ability makes your next 3 Weapon Skills have no cooldown, which opens the door for massive burst damage.

Mage

The Mage class shares its spot with the Warrior thanks to its versatility. Mages have access to a skill called Spark Shield. Casting this skill gives the mage a Shield equal to 40% of their max health. While an extremely basic ability, it has amazing utility regardless of what stage of the game players are in. Mages can do more than just damage; they can also heal and provide significant buffs to their team. Skills like Mystic Empowerment grant the team a 30% Cooldown Reduction in a 100m radius for 15 seconds.

B-Tier

Rogue

Out of all the playable classes in Farever, the Rogue is the least useful in teamplay but is extremely fun and flashy for solo play. With that said, it just does not bring enough to the table compared to other classes. All the other classes are more than capable of dealing damage and sustaining themselves, which the Rogue just lacks. It does have Smoke Bomb, an amazing ability that lets all players within the smoke dodge enemy attacks for 8 seconds. The Rogue is extremely mobile and can easily deal with bosses thanks to its high single-target damage and the use of Death Mark, which increases the damage taken by marked enemies by 15%.

Play whichever you enjoy

Farever is a game that does not take itself all too seriously. It's a game that anyone can pick up, enjoy, and succeed in. Just because a certain class is ranked lower does not mean it's any less fun than other classes. All the classes can easily clear the game and its content. What really matters is choosing a class that you can spend hours with.
