Farever: Best Build for Each Class

Farever has 4 classes, each with its own unique advantages and disadvantages. Like all epic stories, Farever follows the standard adventurer's party with a Mage, Warrior, Rogue, and Priest. However, in this game, Priests are more than just healers or tanks, and Warriors can do more than just hit really hard. Here are the best builds for each class in Farever. This guide will cover Talent tree spreads and itemization, giving you a clear, easy-to-follow guide.

Before Getting Started

Since Farever is still in Early Access, the level cap is set at 20, giving players a total of 11 Talent Tree points to spread. With 3 talent trees per class, getting the most value for each point is quintessential to maximizing damage output and survivability.

Crit Priest

Talents

For the Priest, this build aims to make full use of Crit chance and Sunlight. As such, the middle talent tree provides the most beneficial perks. But, to get the most out of Sunlight, this build will also be taking both adjacent Tier 1 perks.

Tier 1

  • Purging Strikes (1/1)
  • Swift Justice (1/1)
  • Soothing Rays (1/1)

Tier 2

  • Zealous Fighter (2/2)

Tier 3

  • Prosecutor (2/2)
  • Pious Adept (2/2)

Tier 4

  • Solar Devotion (1/1)

Weapons and Gear

Gear is what makes or breaks a character in Farever. Since this build will be using crit and sustain, the gear will revolve mainly around Amon Ram, the Creator. This weapon essentially guarantees critical hits as well as instant casting, allowing Priests to outdamage most classes and solo Hard Dungeons.

On the Off Hand, this build will be using Crabgantuas Kneecap for added sustain and durability. To complete the build, for the Arsenal slot, equip Gorgon Ratsay’s Toothpick. This weapon allows the Priest to essentially face tank everything thanks to the shield it gives you.

DoT Rogue

Talents

If you opt to play as a Rogue, you really only have 2 choices in terms of playstyles. You can either go full melee, zooming and dashing through enemies, or play as an archer. Sadly, bows in the game are extremely underwhelming, and the Rogue class does have an innate bias towards melee with DoT effects.

Tier 1

  • Opportunity Strike (1/1)
  • Intent to Kill (1/1)
  • Adrenaline (1/1)

Tier 2

  • Lethal Dose (2/2)

Tier 3

  • Envenom (1/1)
  • Improved Mixture (2/2)
  • Deadly Poison (1/2)

Tier 4

  • Venomous Finisher(1/1)

Weapons and Gear

The goal of this build is to maximize DoT effects; as such, for the Main Hand, this build will be using Twinfangs of Ratsar. On its own, the Twinfangs are rather underwhelming, but in the hands of a DoT rogue, they can comfortably deal with almost all enemies thanks to stacking DoT effects. The downside to using this weapon is the lack of an off-hand weapon option.

But it can be more than made up for in the Arsenal slot with Cheesemoon. Thanks to its effects, Rogues can comfortably sustain themselves while waiting for enemies to perish from DoT effects.

Rage Warrior

Talents

The Warrior is extremely simple and easy to understand. Just hit things until you get angry so you can hit enemies even harder. As such, this build will take full advantage of Rage to cast abilities in rapid succession.

Tier 1

  • Seasoned Soldier (1/1)
  • Sever (1/1)
  • Rage Shield(1/1)

Tier 2

  • Rash Soul (2/2)

Tier 3

  • Exposed Essence (2/2)
  • Magic Conduction (2/2)

Tier 4

  • Infused Wound (1/1)

Weapons and Gear

Since Rage is generated through hitting enemies and completing combos, it stands to reason that a weapon with extremely high attack speed would be ideal. As such, for the main hand slot, this build will be using Wingsaber. The basic combo of this weapon is insane; the description says it's a 4-attack combo. However, players have reported otherwise, with many in the community assuming it's an 8-attack combo. As with all dual-wield weapons, it locks players out of equipping an offhand weapon or shield.

For the Arsenal slot, Gorgon Ratsay’s Toothpick or Lady Bee’s Stinger is amazing. The Toothpick is best used for increasing survivability and a little more damage, while the Stinger is for maximizing damage output.

Fire Mage

Talents

Mages in Farever are in a difficult spot. While they offer amazing utility and damage potential, on their own, Mages are considered underwhelming. However, there is one build that turns mages into walking catastrophes, and this build lets you do just that.

Tier 1

  • Discipline (1/1)
  • Reverberate (1/1)
  • Conduit Residues (1/1)

Tier 2

  • Chainstrike (2/2)
  • Nimble Fingers (2/2)

Tier 3

  • Kinetic Surge (1/1)
  • Amplification (1/2)

Tier 4

  • High Voltage (1/1)

Weapons and Gear

Currently, Mages have a lack of really impactful gear, with only 1 real weapon choice, which is the Radiance staff. While it's not as flashy as other classes with gear, most of the damage the mage generates comes from innate skills.
