What is the X-01 Power Armor in Fallout 76?

Power Armors, in general, provide great boosts to defense, immunity to fall damage, and increased carrying capacity, among other things. Otherwise, you can take everything by getting in the power armor to move elsewhere. The armor can be upgraded with extra functionalities, some of which will be described next.

Power Armor Upgrades

• X-01 Kinetic Dynamo transforms damage into AP (Action Points). Applies to the torso.
• X-01 Medic Pump shows where you're hit and uses a stimpak when health is sufficiently low. Applies to the torso.
• X-01 Recon Sensors mark sighted enemies with a compass pip. Applies to the helmet.
• X-01 Blood Cleanser reduces the chance to get addicted to drugs. Applies to the torso as well.
• X-01 Optimized Servos reduces AP cost for sprinting. Applies to the legs.
• X-01 VATS Matrix Overlay increases VATS hit chance. Also applies to the helmet.

There are more than these, such as the Stealth Boy upgrade for the arms. It will render you invisible for a time, helping you sneak through enemies. Upgrading the pieces of armor will cost more materials so make sure you get the right one. As each part can hold only one upgrade, make sure to choose wisely.

There is no single X-01 power armor location. It can spawn on power armor frames scattered about Appalachia. There are 17 spots in the Forest, 5 in the Toxic Valley, 15 in the Ash Heap, 21 in the Savage Divide, 9 in the Mire, and 21 in Cranberry Bog.
