If you are playing through the seasonal questlines in Diablo 4 Season 14, you'll eventually run into the Across the Threshold quest. Your objective is to track down and defeat the Pandemonium beast, Realmwalker. Defeating an elusive boss can be difficult. To help you out, here's a guide where you can force them out of hiding in D4 Season 14.
How to Find a Realmwalker in D4 S14
As mentioned, to complete Across the Threshold, you need to defeat the Realmwalker boss. There are two ways to get one to spawn in Sanctuary.

If you want to be efficient and finish the quest early, it's best to prioritize the Realmwalker World Event. It occurs periodically throughout the day, so keep an eye on your world map. As soon as the Whisper icon appears southeast of Zarbinzer, head there.
Step 1: Keep the Ruptures Open
Once the Realmwalker World event begins, your first task is to manage the arena.
- You need to keep three Ruptures open for a specific duration.
- Keep an eye on your minimap. A checkmark will appear to let you know when a Rupture is completed, signaling you to rotate to the next one.
- While you can manage all three Ruptures solo, grouping up with other players in the zone and splitting your forces makes satisfying the summoning prerequisite much easier.
Step 2: Defeat the Realmwalker
Once the Rupture phase is complete, the Realmwalker will emerge at the center of the arena. You don't need to be a high World tier to complete the seasonal quest. If you want to complete it quickly, drop your game down to Normal difficulty to ensure smooth and effortless kills.
During the fight, three pillars will spawn in the arena. Destroy them immediately. If they're left unchecked, they'll transform into Realmbreakers, complicating the battle and flooding the arena with additional threats.
Step 3: Enter the Deathtoll Chamber
After the Realmwalker is defeated, it leaves behind a portal to the Deathtoll Chamber. This initiated the final part of the quest. Here's what you need to do.
- Enter the Portal: The inside functions similarly to a standard Rupture arena.
- Expand the Ritual Circle: Slay the enemies swarming the chamber to fuel and expand the ritual circle on the ground.
- Talk to Dannica: Once the ritual step is complete and the arena is clear, find and speak with Dannica to officially turn in "Across the Threshold" and collect your loot.
