Yama is the next big bad boss in OSRS, and he’ll be bringing several powerful loot items and gold into the game. However, before you can fight him, you’ll need to clear out some prerequisites and learn how to get to his arena. This guide will show you everything you need to know to reach Yama.
Yama Prerequisites
You only need to complete the A Kingdom Divided quest to unlock the Chasm of Fire. In addition, you should have unlocked the use of Fairy Rings to allow you to travel to that area easily. You'll also need to level up some other skills, but those aren’t required and are more for convenience. Here are examples of skills that you might find helpful:
- Level 73 and Level 82 Agility to use shortcut courses to get to Yama
How to Get to Yama
There are two known ways to reach Yama in the Chasm of Fire. The two will require you to use either a Fairy Ring or a Book of the Dead. Here are the quickest ways to get to Yama.
Route #1
- Use the Fairy Ring code DJR.
- Go to the nearest encampment in the southeast to use the bank.
- Afterward, head northwest to reach the Chasm of Fire.
Route #2
- Use the Book of the Dead Teleport History and Hearsay to get to the Graveyard of Heroes.
- Go to the nearest encampment in the northeast to use the bank.
- Afterward, head northwest to reach the Chasm of Fire.
Route #1 is faster since you’ll be closer to the chasm, but both methods work just fine for reaching the Chasm of Fire.
