The City Never Sleeps update for Deadlock brought four new heroes: Rat King, Baba, Solomon, and Deadman Danny, with Nurse Harrow and Violet on the way. The patch has shifted the hero balance, with Rat King posting a high win rate while Sinclair took heavy kit nerfs. Here is the Deadlock hero tier list for October 2026, ranked by win rate, with each hero's strengths and weaknesses.

Deadlock Hero Tier List by Win Rate

S-Tier Explanations

Rat King 57.8%

Rat King is a strong, easy-to-play tank with a valuable initiation ultimate and an on-demand barrier. His durability and teamfight utility make him a reliable choice for players who want to lead engagements.

Paige 56.9%

Paige remains a top support pick for most teams, with a kit that consistently provides value to teammates. She also received a slight buff to her Plot Armor skill, further supporting her strong position in the current meta.

Graves 56.3%

Graves combines split-pushing with soft support abilities, letting him contribute in teamfights while also taking down enemy towers solo. His ability to handle both map pressure and team engagements makes him a versatile pick.

Seven 55.3%

Seven remains one of the strongest Spirit carries, thanks to an impactful damage-focused ultimate that can end teamfights. His ability to deliver significant damage makes him a reliable option for players who want to focus on Spirit-based builds.

Haze 54.9%

Haze is relatively simple to play and becomes a powerful gun carry once she secures enough farm. Her ability to burst down most heroes makes her a strong choice for players who prefer weapon-focused damage and a straightforward carry playstyle.

A-Tier Explanations

Kelvin 53.7%

Kelvin is a strong support choice with soft CC that helps control engagements. However, his ultimate requires careful timing and positioning to reach its full potential, making it important to understand when and where to use it.

Victor 53.3%

Victor can be difficult to manage during the laning phase because his playstyle involves taking self-damage. However, with enough items, he can become an exceptionally durable tank that enemies struggle to take down.

Ivy 53.1%

Ivy has an unconventional soft-support kit, but she can be a lifesaver when protecting her teammates. Her ability to peel for allies makes her a valuable pick for teams that need additional defensive utility.

Dynamo 52.5%

Dynamo has some of the strongest playmaking potential in Deadlock, largely thanks to his powerful crowd-control ultimate. When used at the right moment, his abilities can set up decisive teamfights and give allies opportunities to follow up.

Baba 51.9%

Baba can shut down many Spirit-focused heroes with her Threadsnap while also being one of the tankiest heroes in the game. Her Spirit resistance scales with both item Spirit and stolen Spirit, letting her become especially durable with the right build.

B-Tier Explanations

Wraith 51.2%

Wraith has an easy-to-pick-up kit, but much of her carry potential and mechanical complexity comes from landing her card skillshots. Players who can consistently land these abilities get more value from her kit.

Lash 51.1%

Lash can be difficult to learn at first, but he can set up picks for his team in fights while using his mobility to roam the map. His playstyle rewards players who understand positioning and when to engage isolated targets.

Abrams 50.5%

Abrams is a beginner-friendly tank with lifesteal, improved health regeneration, and crowd-control abilities for initiating fights. His durability and straightforward playstyle make him a solid choice for players learning Deadlock.

Vindicta 50.1%

Vindicta is relatively balanced, with power spikes tied to her gun damage and clear counters to her mobility, such as the Knockdown item. Her performance depends on managing her damage output while accounting for enemy counter-builds.

Lady Geist 49.8%

Lady Geist is a risky hero because her abilities require sacrificing HP. She can be strong in the right hands, but players who do not understand her health management and ability timing can easily make mistakes that leave her vulnerable.

Drifter 49.4%

Drifter thrives against isolated heroes and gains permanent damage from solo kills. However, if he cannot secure those kills and maintain momentum, his overall performance can fall behind other heroes.

Apollo 49.3%

Apollo requires mechanical skill to land his attacks and survive, particularly when using his Riposte skill. He works best as a flex hero who can roam around the map and clean up fights when enemies are vulnerable.

Mo & Krill 49.3%

Mo & Krill are disruptor tanks with a powerful single-target CC ultimate that also grants permanent HP. However, their playstyle becomes easier to counter in higher-ranked lobbies, where opponents are more prepared to deal with their initiation and crowd control.

Infernus 48.8%

Infernus is an accessible Spirit carry whose kit focuses on applying damage over time to wear down enemies. His straightforward damage pattern makes him a reasonable choice for players who prefer sustained damage over complicated combos.

Celeste 48.7%

Celeste has received some nerfs since the latest update, but her strong passive movement still makes her effective at roaming. She can also become a powerful hero once she farms enough items, though it takes time.

C-Tier Explanations

Holliday 48.3%

Holliday has a high skill floor because her barrel bombs, lasso, and headshot passive all require practice to use effectively. However, her high skill ceiling means experienced players can turn her into an oppressive hero at almost any stage of the game.

Calico 48.1%

Calico is a risky off-carry because many of her abilities require close-range fights. Engaging at the wrong moment can leave her vulnerable to stuns and follow-up attacks, so timing is essential.

Vyper 48.0%

Vyper requires strong aim and practice to maximize her kit. As a hybrid Spirit and gun carry who specializes in mobility, she rewards players who can consistently land attacks while using her movement tools effectively.

Bebop 47.5%

Bebop's main value comes from setting up picks with his hooks, which can make him a powerful teamfight presence. However, his lack of escape tools makes him vulnerable to isolation and punishment when he gets caught out of position.

McGinnis 47.4%

McGinnis excels at split-pushing with her turrets while supporting her team with walls and a healing station. However, her lack of mobility makes her vulnerable to targeted ganks, especially when she pushes away from her teammates.

Yamato 47.4%

Yamato relies heavily on her ultimate, while her other abilities can feel intimidating for newer players. Her burst damage is solid, but much of her effectiveness depends on having the right abilities available when she commits to a fight.

Sinclair 47.1%

Sinclair's recent nerfs, combined with his complex ability set, have made him a difficult hero to learn. Players need to understand his mechanics and ability interactions to get consistent value out of his kit.

Venator 47.1%

Venator is a gun carry whose grenades and ultimate deal Pure damage that scales with gun items. He can be powerful when leading in the soul gap, but his performance suffers if he cannot build and maintain that lead.

Grey Talon 47.0%

Grey Talon is a ranged off-carry who specializes in finishing off weakened targets with his ultimate. However, his flight ability makes him an easy target for Knockdown, and he lacks the staying power needed to perform consistently in extended teamfights.

Mina 47.0%

Mina is a squishy ranged carry who needs good aim to build stacks for her Nox Nostra ultimate. She is vulnerable to Knockdown and lacks a reliable survival tool, making positioning and aim especially important when playing her.

Billy 46.8%

Billy's melee-focused playstyle leaves him extremely vulnerable to parries against experienced opponents. He tends to do better in lower-ranked lobbies, where opponents may be less prepared to punish his close-range attacks.

Rem 46.8%

Rem's support abilities provide useful emergency healing and crowd control during fights. However, he requires a strong understanding of the overall game state and team positioning to make the most of his utility.

D-Tier Explanations

Paradox 45.9%

Paradox has a high skill ceiling because all her abilities are skillshots. She can have a major impact by securing picks for her team, but doing so consistently requires precise aim and a strong understanding of her ability timing.

The Doorman 45.9%

The Doorman is a high-skill hero whose portals require considerable practice to use effectively. Learning him takes dedication because his neutral game is relatively weak without proper portal positioning.

Viscous 45.6%

Viscous is a disruptor who focuses on team support. His Cube skill can save him or an ally from lethal damage, but his ultimate is less useful than the rest of his kit, limiting his overall impact.

Silver 45.5%

Silver has a powerful empowered state in her Werewolf Form, but she must deal enough damage to activate it. This makes her performance inconsistent, as she cannot activate or deactivate her ultimate entirely on her own terms.

Warden 45.5%

Warden's abilities have fallen off in usefulness, leaving his ultimate as his most notable tool. Compared to other heroes, he offers limited utility, and even his crowd-control ability can be situational.

Pocket 44.8%

Pocket has a mechanically complex kit that can be difficult to learn and master. Their burst damage can also feel lacking, making it harder to get consistent results without a strong understanding of their abilities.

Mirage 44.7%

Mirage's Spirit burst damage can feel clunky for newer players. His Sandstorm and teleport ultimate are among his strongest abilities, but the rest of his kit can feel mediocre in comparison, limiting his overall consistency.

Solomon 44.6%

Solomon is a support hero whose effectiveness depends on careful planning and positioning. Players need to place his Bishops, Queen, and Rooks correctly to maximize his contribution during teamfights, making him difficult to use without preparation.

Shiv 43.7%

Shiv relies heavily on his Rage mechanic and ultimate to deal significant damage. He can feel weak early, but he scales well into the endgame.

Deadman Danny 36.3%

Deadman Danny has a kit whose abilities work well together and support a hybrid gun-and-Spirit carry playstyle. However, his burst damage remains too low to compete effectively, even with Tier 3 and Tier 4 items.
