The Razorback Armada event is coming soon in Warframe, and the Cryptographic ALU is the key to participating in this event. Completing a run will grant you some good rewards, with 200,000 Credits and an Orokin Catalyst upon mission completion. To help you complete this limited-time event quickly, this guide will show you how you can farm the Cryptographic ALU resource and fight the Razorback.
Where To Find Cryptographic ALU
This resource is only available in Corpus Archwing and Empyrean missions and will only drop from killing Corpus enemies. Each resource drop is 1 Cryptographic ALU, but it can be increased with a Resource Booster and a Resource Drop Chance Booster.
Easiest Method For Farming Cryptographic ALU
While you can do Empyrean missions to get this resource, the easiest way to farm this resource is through Archwing missions, as enemies are easier to kill there.
You will need to complete The Archwing quest to get started on farming, which can be easily accessed through the Codex menu and by selecting Quests. Once you finish the quest and assemble your first Archwing, head to Jupiter, Galilea in the Star Chart, and run the Sabotage mission. This mission will yield approximately 2-3 Cryptographic ALUs per run.
If you want more of this resource, the Salacia node on Neptune is more lucrative but requires a bit more time since it is a Mobile Defense mission. This mission spawns more enemies and yields more Cryptographic ALU.
Crafting A Razorback Cipher
Each Razorback Cipher has the following material cost:
- 1,000 Polymer Bundle
- 3 Gallium
- 4 Cryptographic ALU
- 1,500 Credits
To claim the free Orokin Reactor and other rewards, you'll need a total of:
- 3,000 Polymer Bundles
- 6 Gallium
- 12 Cryptographic ALU
- 4,500 Credits
How To Kill The Razorback
Once you’re in the boss arena, the Razorback will be immune to all damage. To make it vulnerable, you must hack the terminals on the upper platforms of the arena. Hacking one spawns a Bursa. Defeat the Bursa, then hack the panel on its back to make it friendly, as its attacks will damage the Razorback’s legs.
When the Razorback is knocked down, you can now deal damage to it until you deplete one segment of its health. It will become invulnerable, so you must repeat the terminal and Bursa hacking steps.
