How to Craft the Masterwork Ranged Armor

Once you've gathered all the materials needed, you can assemble your Masterwork Ranged Gear. Making the armor set requires methodical layering. You're basically making 12 Ethereal Draconic Plates and stitching them together into the armor pieces. Each plate will undergo specific evolutions to bond magical and physical properties to the piece. Here's what you need to do.

Steps

Description

Base

Forge a Masterwork Ranged Plate using a Glorious Bar, one Praesulic Essence, and one Sirenic Essence.

Inlay

Use Silver Spikes and Lacquer to reinforce the plate. This gives the armor its high defensive soak and its signature Havenhythe silver sheen.

Lining

Apply White Dragonhide and Prime Apex Sinew to create a flexible, reinforced interior that can withstand high-velocity movement.

Crafting

Use the drafting table to shape the lined plate into its functional but still mundane Unimbued form.

Imbuing

Use your Magic and Runecrafting skills at a soul altar or the Dragon Forge to Imbue it into an Ethereal Draconic Plate.

Assembly

The final assembly requires the specialized Drafting Table and Tailor's Dummy found in high-level crafting hubs. Interact with the Drafting Table to select which piece of armor you want to create.

Here’s how many Ethereal Draconic Plates you need for each armor piece.

Masterwork Ranged Armor Key Features

The Masterwork Ranged Armor set is meant for long hunts. The set focuses on survival in the most dangerous environments. It turns any lethal one-shot attacks taken by your character into a damage-over-time bleed. Giving you time to heal. Here are some key features of the armor.

Key Features

Description

Delayed Damage Set Effect

Wearing the full 5-piece set converts 50% of incoming damage into a bleed that hits you over 6 seconds.

Custom-Fitting

Visit the Master Crafter to "Custom-fit" your set. It becomes permanently untradeable, but gains double the charges and will not degrade while you are on a Slayer or Soul Reaper task.

The Masterwork Bow Passive

If you pair the armor with the Tier 100 Masterwork Bow, you gain Masterworked Mending, which heals you for 2% of all damage dealt, effectively self-healing through your own delayed damage bleeds.
