The Bomber Build offers the best option when taking out multiple enemies simultaneously while also dealing significant damage to single targets. The build focuses on utilizing explosive attacks with maximum damage output. While this loadout has been slightly nerfed since beta, players can create a mighty Bomber build if they know which items to pick.
Best Unstable Bomber Primary and Secondary Weapons
The best weapons for this build would be the Recurve Crossbow and, of course, the DE.50 - JAWS. The latter is the most critical weapon here because it’s the one that produces Unstable Bomber. The gun relies on a high Crit Rate to activate the effect, which means you also get higher damage output. For the calibration mods, we advise the following:
- Rapid Shot Style: +25% Fire Rate, +40% Magazine Capacity, and –15% Attack
- Crit Rate (at least 5%)
- Crit Rate (at least 7.5%)
These calibration mods are suitable for both PvE and PvP scenarios. We want to use Rapid Shot Style because it allows us to fire more shots, but at the expense of reducing our base ATK Power. However, the increased Crit Rate should offset this tradeoff.
The reason why we want to include the Recurve Crossbow is due to the Bull’s Eye effect. Every time you hit a weak spot with this weapon, you inflict The Bull’s Eye, which increases all your current weapons’ Crit Rate by 30% against the marked target for 10 seconds. It significantly increases the damage output of all your explosions.
Best Unstable Bomber Armor
The most crucial piece for this build is the Shaman Vulture Top. Every time that Unstable Bomber is activated, this piece increases your Crit Rate by 35% for three seconds. It also gives you a higher chance of activating this effect again while dealing significantly more damage.
Ideally, you’ll want to get the Lonewolf Set for this build because you can gain 48% Crit Damage due to the Lone Shadow effect. However, since these are scarce pieces, you can settle for the Falcon Set for now. This setup gives us a +5% Crit Rate and +20% Crit Damage every time our Stamina is over 90%, which significantly ramps up our damage as long as you play it right.
The last piece we want is the Bastille Pants. This clothing increases our weapon damage by 10%, which works well with JAW. However, any pants that can improve your weapon damage or Crit Rate would do fine.
Best Unstable Bomber Mods
You can be flexible with the mods you can use for this build. However, we have suggestions on which ones to take to maximize your damage. Here are some of the best mods you can use for this build:
- Vulnerability Modifier (Weapon): Increases Bull’s Eye Vulnerability effect by 8%
- Momentum Up (Helmet): Increases Fire Rate by 8% for the first 50% of the magazine and Weapon Damage by 25% for the latter half.

- Point Detonation (Mask): Unstable Bomber Final DMG increases by 25% when hitting a single target.
- Crit Amplifier (Top): +2% Crit Rate and +12% Crit Damage
- Deadshot-Talents (Bottom): Gain +4% Crit Dmg (can stack up to 36%) for every non-melee Crit Shot. (Effect is cleansed when reloading)
- Crit Dmg Boost (Gloves): +12% Crit Rate
- Slow and Steady (Shoes): +10% Melee, Weapon, and Status DMG. Gain additional +10% DMG while above 90% HP.
Best Unstable Bomber Deviant
Mini Feaster is our best pick for Unstable Bomber due to Touch of the Abyss. This skill summons tentacles near a target enemy for five seconds. Every tentacle spawn increases your weapon DMG by 17.5%, which can stack up to 70%. Using this deviant will significantly ramp up your overall damage.

When running this build, we highly advise players to bring Stargazy Pie and Whimsical Drink as food consumables. The former increases your Crit DMG by 25% and Bonus by +16% (up to 41%). Meanwhile, the latter ramps up your Status DMG by +25% and Bonus by +16% (up to 41%).
