Ruan Mei and Dr. Ratio are some of the game's most knowledgeable scientific figures; each is a well-known member of their respective organizations. While it is unknown exactly when these characters will be released, there’s already some information about their kit and abilities.
Who is Ruan Mei in Honkai Star Rail
Ruan Mei is a member of the enigmatic Genius Society, proudly bearing the tag of number 81. Her contribution to the creation of the Simulated Universe adds a layer of intrigue to her character. Described by Herta as a master in composition, Ruan Mei's expertise lies in cultivating protoplasm simulating the Aeons. - Ultimate - Unleashes a powerful Imaginary DMG assault on a single enemy. The impact intensifies based on the cumulative negative effects burdening the target. Dr. Ratio ensures that every negative condition turns into an advantage.
- Talent - Randomly gains one of ATK buff, CRIT buff, CRIT DMG buff, or SPD buff for a commendable three turns upon executing Basic ATK or Skill. Dr. Ratio injects an element of unpredictability, keeping the gameplay dynamic.
- Technique - Takes charge with a tactical taunt maneuver, compelling the enemy's attention and concurrently reducing their SPD for a strategic two turns. Dr. Ratio's active engagement alters the dynamics of the battle.
4-Star Character Xueyi

- Ultimate - Unleashing her ultimate prowess, Xueyi inflicts Quantum damage upon a designated enemy. What sets this move apart is its ability to disregard a portion of DEF and impose DEF Reduction. Each layer of "Vendetta" accumulated during this onslaught amplifies the damage, reaching a crescendo with a maximum increase.
- Talent - Xueyi's skill revolves around the concept of "Vendetta." Dealing damage to an enemy grants her up to 6 stacks of Vendetta. Upon reaching full stacks, she launches an additional attack, delivering three instances of Quantum damage to a random enemy. The damage scales with a percentage of her ATK, and a further boost is applied if the target's weakness is Quantum.
- Technique - Initiating battle with a burst of energy, Xueyi swiftly targets a random enemy, unleashing Quantum damage equivalent to 80% of her ATK.
These are all the confirmed characters coming to Honkai Star Rail 1.6. It is still unknown when this version will be released, but the earliest estimate is early 2024. There will be several banners before Ruan Mei and Dr. Ratio, so players who want to pull these characters have enough time to save up on Stellar Jades.
