The Heir of Perdition is one of the most powerful and sought-after Mythics in Diablo 4. It has one of the best effects for any Mythic in the game called Mother’s Favor. This effect essentially skyrockets your damage to astronomical proportions just by slaughtering enemies. How to get Heir of Perdition Mythic Unique
Before Getting Started
Understanding how loot drops work in Diablo 4 is important. Uniques, some of the game's most powerful gear, rarely drop, and the even more powerful Mythic Uniques have even lower drop chances. Uniques and Mythics start dropping as early as Torment I. The chance for a Mythic drop does NOT increase as you go up the Torment ladder. What happens is more loot drops, and every time loot is dropped, there is a chance for it to be a Mythic. But it does not mean that the chances increase; instead, there are more chances for it to drop.
Heir of Perdition Drop Location
The Heir of Perdition has no known dedicated drop location. It can be dropped from any endgame activity and is not tied to any Lair boss.
Kurast Undercity with Tribute of Ascendance
The Kurast Undercity is one of the best sources for Mythic Uniques thanks to the tribute system. Using the Tribute of Ascendance essentially guarantees Uniques to drop, but it does not guarantee that Mythics will drop. To increase your chances of getting this item, setting up your War Plans skill tree is a must.
On your War Plans Skill Tree in the Undercity tab, taking the whole of the left side of the tree massively increases the amount of loot you get thanks to goblins. Gutter Filth with Trials and Tributes gives massive lootsplosions at the end of an Undercity run. The downside to doing this is having to farm for Tributes. But thanks to the Horadric Cube, players can amalgamate lower-tier tributes to a higher tier. Since these drop more often than high-tier tributes, players can always ‘trade in’ 5 lower-tier tributes for 1 higher-tier tribute.
Purveyor of Curiosities Flipping
Another method streamers love to use is the Purveyor of Curiosities. It's essentially gambling resources for a chance at a Mythic. The chances of getting a Mythic are extremely low, but it is still an option available to players with limited amounts of time to grind.
Jeweler Crafting
By far the most straightforward and guaranteed method for getting the Heir of Perdition is just straight-up crafting it. Players can use the Jeweler NPC to craft a handful of Mythics for them, and among them is this amazing helm. If you were to use this option, you would need:
- 6x Jah
- 6x Que
- 6x Gar
- 2x Resplendent Spark
Runes can be farmed by doing almost any activity and can even be crafted at the Horadric Cube. For efficiency, players farm bosses on a lower Torment level, like Torment IV, in order to basically insta-kill the boss. Alternatively, players can also trade for their missing runes by using Diablo trade.
The real challenge would be getting Replendent Sparks. These can only be obtained by salvaging Mythic Unique items. However, players receive 1 Replendent Spark the first time they defeat Uber Lilith each season. If you are really down on your luck, trading can be a solution by salvaging any Mythic that can be bought for cheap on trade sites.
