How to Buy ARK Rex
Few prehistoric creatures conjure up fear and images of utterly devastating fury than the Tyrannosaurus Rex. And in ARK: Survival Evolved, Rexes are pretty much kings all the same! To get your own to help you become the ultimate survivor, simply follow these easy steps:
- Register at PlayerAuctions (or simply log in if you already have an account).
- Browse through the offers page to see if any deal strikes your fancy.
- Once decided, click on an offer.
- The seller will then contact you with the details and promptly send your ARK Rex.
- Check it to see if it is as described in the offer. Once satisfied, make the confirmation in our system so we can give the seller his or her due compensation.
ARK Tek Rex
Unlocking the Tek Tier in ARK: Survival Evolved is crucial; we can’t stress its importance enough. In order to see the Tek Tier, simply go to your Engrams and click the Tekgrams checkmark. There you’ll see Engrams, all greyed out except for the ones you’ve already unlocked. To get the ARK Tek Rex, you’ll need to place the necessary materials along with blueprints.
Note: Once you manage to kill a boss, make sure to get the element that they drop ASAP. You only have a limited time window (bout 30 seconds) to do so, so make every second count!
ARK Rex Taming Tips
Being one of the most ferocious beasts in all creation, taming the Rex can be a rather tall order. That being said, it is doable. First off, you’re going to need to lay down irressistible bait to lure your prey in. We suggest using Exceptional Kibble and Raw Prime Mutton for this task. Others like Raw Mutton, Raw Prime Fish Meat, Cooked Lamb Chop, Just won’t cut it. As an added measure, you can also add Cooked Prime Meat to the mix.
Now that the prime hunter has turned into the hunted, you’ll need about 70 narcotics per hour. It’s crucial that ou condition the area you plan to tame the Rex in. Otherwise, there’ll be lots of free-roaming animals that may interfere with your taming of the Rex. You can create a trap for this, but note that it can be rather costly as Rexes are huge. As an alternative to trapping, you can also try using an elevated area so they won’t be able to attack you as you try to tame them.
When all is said and done, however, taming an ARK Rex can be a tedious process and it’s one that you can easily shortcircuit by simply buying one straight up.
ARK Rex Saddle
Now that you’ve properly tamed the ARK Rex, it’s time to saddle it up. For that, you’ll need a blueprint of the ARK Rex Saddle. Fortunately, the Master Craft Rex Sadde Blueprint isn’t really hard to come by. To gain it, you’ll need to go up against either a Lava Golem Boss or a Ragnarok Man.

Option 1: In-game, Face to Face Delivery
Sellers will select this method of delivery if they intend to meet your character in-game with one of their own characters. Usually, a seller will coordinate a time and location in-game to meet your character.
Tips:
- Be sure to confirm the time to account for time zone differences.
- Confirm which Server the delivery is to take place in case your game world has more than one.
- Never, under any circumstances, return gold, items, etc. to the delivery character if ever asked. In the event the seller asks you to, please take a screenshot and report this to PlayerAuctions Customer Support.
Option 2: In-game Mailbox delivery.
Some sellers will select the option to deliver gold or items directly to an in-game mailbox. This option can be convenient for smaller orders because you do not need to coordinate time of delivery.
