In Warframe, Galvanized mods further elevate your weapon stats by enhancing its performance whenever you get a kill. This makes Steel Path content more manageable since the stacking buffs are multiplicative and scale well with enemy levels. Galvanized mods have exclusively been available for primary and secondary weapons, but recently, the Koumei and the Five Fates update introduced melee Galvanized mods. Here’s what the new mods do and how you can earn them.
What Are the New Mods?
Here are the descriptions for each Galvanized melee mod at max rank:
- Galvanized Elementalist
- 80% Status Damage on Melee Kill
- 30% Status Chance for 20s. Stacks up to 4x
- Galvanized Reflex
- +50 Heavy Attack Efficiency on Melee Kill
- +20 Initial Combo for 20s. Stacks up to 4x
- Galvanized Steel
- +110% Critical Chance on Melee Kill (x2 for Heavy Attacks.)
- +30% Critical Damage for 20s. Stacks up to 4x
How to Earn Galvanized Mods
Like all other Galvanized mods, you can purchase them from the Arbiters of Hexis with the Vitus Essence currency. One Galvanized mod costs 20 Vitus Essence. Each Relay will have a vendor within the faction room, and you won’t need any faction rep to purchase from them.
You can obtain this currency by completing Arbitrations. These are harder Alerts that will always have an Endless objective (i.e. Defense, Survival, Interception, Disruption, etc.) Each Arbitration clear will give you one Vitus Essence. To farm for this currency, you’ll need to kill the special Arbitration Shield Drone that only spawns in this game mode.
Enemy levels start from 60 to 80, depending on the mode. Arbitration Shield Drones will give tethered enemies full immunity to Warframe abilities and must be destroyed immediately to drop Vitus Essence.
Unlocking Arbitrations
To unlock Arbitrations, you’ll need to complete the following requirements:
- Complete all Main Quests up to Whispers in the Walls.
- Clear all Star Chart nodes (except Mutalist Alad V, Jordas Golem, and Zealoid Prelate)
- Have one Warframe at Rank 30 that used one Forma.
