The First Descendant Axion Plains Guide

Season 3 of The First Descendant has rolled out, and with it, a new area: the Axion Plains. This area differs from the regular regions and their missions in the game, focusing on fighting wandering minibosses, such as the Roaming Colossi, and the Wall Crasher world boss. This Battlefield grants Rare to Trascendent tier items and passive QoL buffs like decreased research time and bonus Void Axium rewards. This guide will show you how you can get the most rewards out of the Axion Plains battlefield.

Dimensional Breach

The featured boss in the Axion Plains is the Wall Crasher. This boss only appears in the central dome arena on the map. The Wall Crasher will only spawn every hour, meaning that you will need to wait until it spawns. Once the fight begins, the doors leading to the arena will close, but players can still join the fight by receiving an invite.

Dimensional Energy Stabilization

Completing missions in the Axion Plains will fill a bar called Dimensional Energy Stabilization. By clearing the Operational Area, you can get rewards like Trigger Mods and Blueprints for loot. This is part of the daily reward systems that you can grind out in the Axion Plains.

Completing the bar grants bonus effects for all players, such as 15% decreased research time, 30% increased Void Axium rewards, and 15% increased Unique Arche Factor XP. This meter resets every Thursday.

Mobile Energy Monitoring

This activity is essentially a racing minigame with your Hover Bike. The objective is to pass through every highlighted zone in the shortest time possible. If you finish the race in under 46 seconds, you can receive a Crystallization Catalyst as a reward, as well as some Gold and Kuiper Shards.

Roaming Colossi

Occasionally, 2 random Roaming Colossus will spawn on the map. These are mechanically similar to the standard Colossi missions, but can drop components for all Descendants and drop Rare Weapons. They spawn at the same time as the Wall Crasher and will remain for 8 minutes.
