Marvel Rivals Angela Overview
Angela possesses some incredible abilities that can be utilized effectively with proper team communication and game sense. Despite the excellent abilities on paper, how does it hold up when playing in matches? Here's an overview of Angela in Marvel Rivals.
Angela's Strengths in Marvel Rivals
Angela is the perfect counter for Duelists and Strategists who can fly, which was previously difficult. There's finally a Vanguard who can control the skies. She can easily stop an enemy flier and throw them back into their team for a kill.
Her Assassin's Charge can grab two enemies at once, and when the ability ends, it'll send enemies into knockback. Angela can use Spear of Ichors to knock them further back. She can easily get Environmental KOs. Heven's Retribution is the perfect ultimate to slow down enemies but also deal damage to them.
Her flight and Assassin's Charge can easily snatch and fly away with an enemy Strategist and get a free kill. Angela's abilities enable her to pounce on enemies and drag them along, isolating and killing them in the process.
Angela's Weaknesses in Marvel Rivals
Despite her excellent mobility and crowd control, Angela lacks survivability and a tanky health bar compared to her fellow Vanguards. She only has 550 Base Health, which means whoever is using her needs to focus on staying alive and evading any attacks. She does gain bonus health from Axes of Ichors, but it will require her to be dealing damage up close with enemies.
Angela's Spear of Ichors requires to be refueled by flying, grabbing an enemy, or absorbing damage with Shielded Stance. If she's not fully charged, she can't knock back enemies and will only deal minimal damage. You can't spam the ability and must think when to use it.
Angela's abilities focus on mobility and crowd control. Her damage output is low due to her primary fire relying on a resource. She has excellent damage output with Axes of Ichors and Heven's Retribution, but that's about it. Expect to crowd control or isolate enemies, rather than dealing heavy damage.
