How to Get the Strange Gem in PEAK
Obtaining the Strange Gem is easy if you keep an eye out for it. The Strange Gem can be obtained only at the top of the final biome. When you reach the peak, you’ll need to look out for an Ancient Statue similar to the ones you've encountered at the top of each of the previous biomes with the marshmallows and the campfire.
You'll find the Ancient Statue at the back of the mountain, with the Strange Gem in its hands. Just interact with the gem to pick it up. You can treat it like any other item; you can either throw it or store it in your backpack or storage slot.
What Does the Strange Gem Do in PEAK
Now that you’ve obtained the Strange Gem, it doesn’t do anything at the moment. It’s shiny and pink, that’s pretty much it. The gem doesn’t heal you, cure any effects, or even revive any dead teammates. The only thing you can do is throw it like dynamite.
The Strange Gem may have a purpose in the future, but for now, it's a useless item that players can pick for fun before they complete the climb. Perhaps in future updates, the Strange Gem will have a bigger purpose, but players will have to wait and see.
