Where to find Horses
Horses are commonly found in the northern part of the map with a decent number of known spawns within the safezone. Outside of the safezone, horses can spawn around the Tenebrok Lumber Mill and nearby zones.
How to tame a horse in Gloria Victis
Taming a horse in Gloria Victis is simple; all you have to do is walk up to the WildHorse and press the interact button to start taming the animal. Doing so will start a minigame. In this minigame, a small circle will appear above your health bar, displaying a timer and instructions. Simply move your mouse in the direction listed for the next 20 seconds.
The minigame, while simple and easy, does have a significant effect on your horse's stats once tamed. Next to the circle will be a combo counter; each time you move your mouse in the right direction, you earn 1 point on it. Your Highest Combo will significantly affect how good or bad your new mount will be.
Horse Stats Explained
In Gloria Victis, horses have an expiry date. This date is influenced by your Highest Combo score during the taming minigame. For example, if you scored 26 points, sometimes the horse will have 150 days before it will naturally die. Beyond influencing your horse's longevity, your score also affects their max level and other stats like Max HP and Max Stamina.
Horses can be trained every few hours to gain permanent bonuses to stats. However, it does come at the cost of currency, which can add up over time. Players can also distribute stat points to Vitality, Condition, Dynamics, and Agility, and essentially personalize their mounts.
