How to Get the Pollo Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3

If you're hunting for Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, there's one companion that's harder to track down than the rest. The Pollo Sprite is a Mythic-tier collectible that was introduced in v41.20. With the recent update, the Pollo Sprite has been added to the BR loot pool. If you want to get your hands on this rare Sprite, here's a complete guide on how to find, trade, and level up the highly coveted Pollo Sprite.

Where to Find the Pollo Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3

When the Pollo Sprite was first introduced, you could only get it from players who already had it or by obtaining it from the multi-FNCS Global Champion Pollo himself. Thanks to the recent update, players can easily obtain it since it's now part of the loot pool.

The Pollo Sprite doesn't have a guaranteed or fixed location. Instead, you need to rely on RNG by looting high-value containers. Here are some containers where you have the best odds of finding one.

  • Sprite Chests: These specific chests offer the highest probability of dropping Sprites, so if you're hunting for Pollo, you'll want to prioritize landing at POIs (Points of Interest) with a high concentration of them.
  • Rare Chests: They're a bit less reliable since they pull from the entire Mythic and Legendary loot pool, but Rare Chests can occasionally drop the Pollo Sprite.
  • Standard Chests & Supply Drops: The drop rate is astronomically low here, but it's still technically possible for you to pull the Sprite from these regular loot sources.
  • Eliminated Players: Keep an eye out for glowing Mythic loot when you eliminate an opponent, because if they had the Pollo Sprite equipped or in their inventory, they'll drop it when they're eliminated.

Finding the Pollo Sprite during a match doesn't mean you own it. To permanently unlock the Sprite in your collection, you need to successfully extract it before the match ends by taking it to an Extraction Site or using a Portable Extractor.

How to Trade the Pollo Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3

Since the drop rates in chests are incredibly low, trading is the most reliable way to get a Pollo Sprite. The Fortnite community has set up dedicated trade hubs to swap rare Sprites. Here's how you can trade Sprites in-game.

  • Find a Trading Partner: You'll first want to connect with a player who's already got the Pollo Sprite permanently unlocked.
  • Load into a Match: Next, you'll need to party up and load into a standard Battle Royale or Zero Build match together.
  • Summon the Sprite: Your partner's going to need to spend 7,500 Sprite Dust so they can summon the Pollo Sprite at the start of the match.
  • Make the Swap: Have your partner drop the Pollo Sprite from their inventory so you can pick it up, and if you've agreed on a trade, you'll drop your promised Sprite for them in return.
  • Extract Safely: Make sure you take your newly acquired Pollo Sprite to an Extraction Site so it's permanently unlocked for your own account.

How to Level up the Pollo Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3

Once you've secured the Pollo Sprite, you'll want to level it up to maximize its in-game ability. The Pollo Sprite grants a passive shield regeneration ability for you and your nearby squad members for a short duration after you get an elimination. Like all Sprites in Chapter 7 Season 3, the Pollo Sprite gets stronger as you level it up. You just need to equip them during a match to level them up. The upgrades directly increase the duration of the shield regeneration.

Level

Shield Regeneration Duration

Level 1

6 seconds

Level 2

7 seconds

Level 3

8 seconds

Level 4

9 seconds

Level 5 (Max)

10 seconds

At max level, a full 10-second passive shield regeneration can easily top off your shields after a fight. Because the ability only triggers after an elimination, this Sprite is best suited for highly aggressive players who love to push enemy squads.
