Etheria is a strategic RPG where players take the role of Hyperlinkers who collect and train Animuses, explore dungeons, and compete in real-time PvP. Master tactical team-building to conquer combat challenges. As players progress through PvE modes like the Phantom Theater and Fearless Arena, they can prepare their roster of Animus for PvP matches. Obtaining new Animus and training them can take a long time, but players can purchase a complete account with max-level characters for the full story experience.
In a future where humanity has uploaded its consciousness to Etheria to survive, players must build squads from a deep roster of multi-attribute heroes, master dynamic turn-based combat, and face off in real-time PvP arenas like Summit Arena while tackling layered PvE content such as Phantom Theater and Fearless Arena.
Players can also collect combat pets called Shells, upgrade their squad with customizable Modules, and build ability synergies across their team to create the ultimate team. When it comes to building characters, the game features four key components: Module (gear), Shell (accessories), Prowess (fixed attributes and skills), and Level. Each Animus is tied to a specific element: Reason, Hollow, Odd, Disorder, and Constant, which determines their damage type and how strong they are against an enemy of a different element.
Much of the early game progression will be done with the Daily Challenges. These are: Grim Pursuit (Shells), Threshold (Modules), Investigation (XP). and GP Outpost (Materials). Once players have a solid team, they can move on to activities like Phantom Theater and Fearless Arena. These give out Crystals, which is the gacha currency to roll for new Animus.
Endgame progression means having not just the best characters in the roster, but having a diverse group of Animus of varying Synergy elements to deal maximum damage and survive in high-level battles.
