Arknights: Endfield has just released the banner for a fan favorite operator, Gilberta the Floaty Messenger. She's the second rate up banner ever since the release of the game, and players are speculating if she is worth pulling. Consider the following when deciding whether to pull for her.
Battle of the Supports
Gilberta is the premier support for Arts-based teams looking for faster clearing speed. Her skills really allow her to shine as the premier Nature Amp support.

AoE attack that pulls enemies in a large radius to the middle while giving them Nature Infliction, Arts Susceptibility, and Slow. Greatly amps the damage of her team while preventing the enemy from being able to counterattack. 📌Note: The amp effect of her ultimate only lasts for 5 seconds, creating a very limited window of opportunity to cast combos and ultimates. |
Rivals
Her main rival as a support would be Ardelia. Unlike Gilberta, Ardelia is a generalist support who can fit into nearly any team. She offers a broad range and few downsides in her kit. In the current meta, Gilberta is a great asset to Laevatain mains thanks to the synergy of their ultimates. However, it must be known that survival becomes much more difficult without a dedicated healer or tank.
Yvonne Synnergy
Another consideration players must take into account is the fact that Yvonne's banner is just around the corner. Her banner will be released in roughly 2 weeks. For F2P players, reaching for the guaranteed 120 Pull for both banners is just mathematically impossible. Players must know that during Gilberta’s Banner, there is a small chance for you to pull Yvonne and vice versa.
In the current meta, Gilberta is the best support for Yvonne thanks to her Combo Skill. The pair can easily cause enemies to Solidify and, in turn, take massive damage thanks to Shatter. If you plan to make Yvonne the primary DPS, Gilberta is a must-have.
