The Outstanding Balance quest is a key mid-game mission in the Flashpoint update. Tian Wen, the gun shop owner in Speranza, issues it. The quest tasks you to track down a debt involving a character named Dodger. It's a mission that will test your navigation skills and your ability to survive high-traffic zones. Outstanding Balance Quest Walkthrough
The quest has three main objectives that are easy to follow. It's more about exploring and finding the right places, but you should still be on the lookout for any attacks. Here's a complete walkthrough of the quest.
💡Tip: Since the quest requires you to extract a physical item to complete the quest, you should have an Augment with a Safe Pocket equipped. It ensures that if you get attacked by ARC Machines or hostile Raiders, your progress won't be lost.
Objective 1: The Traffic Tunnel (Blue Gate)
In the first part of the quest, you'll need to head to Blue Gate. Be careful since it's filled with ARC Drones and rival Raiders. To enter, you need speed and stealth to avoid unnecessary gunfights. Here's what you need to do.
- Head to the Checkpoint POI. Look for the massive industrial doors that lead underground into the Traffic Tunnel.
- Once inside, stick to the left side and follow the main road northwest toward the back wall. Near a large blue tarp, you will find an interactable spot labeled Dodger's Stash.
- Interacting with this spot reveals that the stash is empty. Your quest objective will update, forcing you to move toward the treacherous northern heights of the map.
Objective 2: Pilgrim's Peak Antenna
Once you realize the stash is empty, you'll need to head towards the highest point in the map, Pilgrim's Peak. Here's what you need to do.
- Navigate to the northernmost tip of the map. You are looking for the massive radio antenna/tower at the back of the area.
- At the base of the tower, find the entrance leading to a zipline. Take the zipline up, but jump off at the floor just below the very top.
- Look for a bag on the floor near some red machinery. Interact with it to spawn Dodger's Note.
📌Note: Immediately place Dodger's Note into your Safe Pocket. If you die before extracting, you won't have to return to the tower in your next raid.
Objective 3: Extraction and Turn-In
The quest isn't over until you're back in the settlement. With the possession of Dodger's Note, you become a target. You'll need to head back to the extraction point safely. Here's what you need to do.
- Head to the nearest extraction point. Be wary of Comets and Bastions frequently patrolling the path between Pilgrim's Peak and the southern extraction zones.
- Once back at the base, speak with Tian Wen to hand over the note and settle the Outstanding Balance.

Completing the quest doesn't just clear Dodger's debt, but also increases your reputation with the merchants at Speranza.
