Best Monk Transmog Sets

Monk Transmogs

World of Warcraft Best Monk Transmog Sets

In any MMO, cosmetics are arguably the end-game content that most players invest the majority of their time on. World of Warcraft is no exception, as many champions jump into raids to farm unique and in-demand costumes. Monks are some of the classes that are not blessed in terms of cosmetics. There are very few transmogs that would jive best with the profession. It might be a bit frustrating for players with this job to look for cool-looking costumes that would best reflect their spec. This guide will help gamers to find the best transmogs for Monks.

Note: Those included in this list are sets, which means none of them are mix and match outfits. If you are looking for good combinations, you can combine the transmogs listed here.

Shal’dorei Heritage Armor

This transmog is exclusive to the Nightborne, so it can only be acquired by Monks who are part of the Night Elf race. The heritage armor is one of the best Monk outfits available to the class but not all races. If you are using a Night Elf, then this is one of the cosmetics you should aim to get.

How to Get: The main way to get this Transmog is to complete the Heritage of the Nightborne achievement. To earn this accolade, you need to reach level 50 with a newly created Night Elf character.

Chi’Ji’s Battlegear (Mythic Recolor)

If you have ever seen the Pandaren NPCs walking around in Warcraft, then you might notice that many of them have very identifiable vests and hats. The Chi’Ji’s set displays a crimson color and is a good transmog to accurately represent Monks in the game.

How to Get: Can be obtained from the Antorus, the Burning Throne Raid

Fire-Charm Vestments

If you are looking for a set that makes you look like a member of secretive order, then the Fire-Charm Vestments is something that you should look into. There are three variations for this set, and each of them is unique. Here are all the types of Fire-Charm reskins in the game:

  • Normal Recolor
  • Heroic Recolor
  • Raid Finder Recolor

Where to Get: There are two ways to acquire this set. You can either buy the transmog from certain NPCs or obtain them as loot. Ao Pye at Niuzao Temple and Teng of the Flying Daggers at Bleak Hollow will sell them to players for Tokens of the Crackling Vanquisher. Nalak in the Isle of Thunder also has a chance to drop it.

Battlewrap of the Hurricane’s Eye

This battle wrap set is a set that can accurately reflect the Monk class. It has six reskins which alter the color of the transmog or introduce several changes. Here are all the variations of the Hurricane’s Eyes:

  • Mythic Recolor
  • Heroic Recolor
  • Normal Recolor

How to Get: The set can be acquired by finishing the Hellfire Citadel raid.

Vestments of Enveloped Dissonance

If you want a more sinister or traveler feels to your Monks, then the Enveloped Dissonance vests might be worth your attention. The set features hooded leather gear with earth-tone colors that would reflect a weary novice. Here are the different variations for each of them:

  • Base
  • Mythic Recolor
  • Heroic Recolor
  • Raid Finder Recolor

How to Get: The whole set can be acquired by doing the Nighthold raid, but each component will be looted separately. Here is the set distribution for the Vestments of Enveloped Dissonance:

  • Grand Magistrix Elisande (Head)
  • Tichondrius (Shoulder)
  • Trilliax (Back)
  • Krosus (Chest)
  • Star Augur Etraeus (Hands)
  • Gul’dan (Legs)

Grandmaster’s Finery

Some Monks are commonly designated as guardians of altars or temples, and the Grandmaster’s Finery reflects that sort of ambiance. This jade-colored equipment makes you look like an honored guard of an ancient temple.

How to Get: The Grandmaster’s Finery is a class-specific set only available to Monks. You can acquire them by doing Class Hall Campaign quests and Legion Hall raids. Each set has different requirements or missions.

Vestments of the Seven Sacred Seals

This tier 16 set is one of the most popular Monk outfits in the game, especially for those looking for a more Eastern-novice vibe. There are six reskin variations for this outfit, which only affects the hue of the garb. Here are some of the different looks of the Seven Sacred Seals:

  • Mythic Recolor
  • Normal and Heroic Recolor
  • Raid Finder Recolor

How to Get: The Vestments of Seven Sacred Seals can mainly be acquired by buying them via certain NPCs. Players can obtain them from Thelett Shaleheart (Alliance) in the Shrine of Seven Stars or from Nadina Stargem (Horde) in the Shrine of Two Moons in exchange for Tokens of the Cursed Protector. You can get the heroic mode version of the legs and hands as drops from Chi-Ji, Niuzao, Xuen, and Yu’lon on the Timeless Isle.

Vestments of the Red Crane

Another fan-favorite set is the Vestments of the Red Crane, which features a very prominent helm. If you are looking for an ominous and battle-ready Monk look, then this set is something you should investigate. Here are the different variations for this garb:

  • Heroic Recolor
  • Raid Finder Recolor
  • Normal Recolor

How to Get: The set can be bought from Commander Oxheart at the Niuzao Temple in the Townlong Steppes. He will sell these items to you in exchange for Tokens of the Shadowy Protector. Alternatively, you can gain legs and hands pieces as drops from Sha of Anger in Kun-Lai Summit.

Garb of Pure Spirit

Though it may look unconventional for Monks, the Garb of Pure Spirit is unique and an interesting choice if you are looking for a more regal and nature-vibe outfit. Monks can use certain pieces to mix and match them with other sets. However, the garb itself, as a whole, is a great choice for this class.

How to Get: Even though it is tagged as a vendor item, you will receive the whole set upon reaching Renown 60 with the Night Fae.

Sepulcher of the First Ones

While it may look over the top, this set is very appropriate for Monks who are always in the thick of battle. Donning this outfit will help make you look like a battle-harden and elite guard of a temple or altar. It is considered one of the best and most unique cosmetic items for any class in the game.

How to Get: The Class set can be acquired in three ways. You can get them as drops from the bosses in the Sepulcher of the First Ones. Alternatively, you can get them as Great Vault drops from doing Mythic+ and PvP. Crafting is also an option via the Creation Catalyst.

Mix and Match

While these outfits look gorgeous by themselves, it is always a great idea to mix and match them to find the best drip. However, you should first expand your collection of outfits so that you have multiple options in creating your ensemble. The Monk garbs in this list are certainly some of the bests ones, especially for combining multiple pieces. Make sure to spend some time acquiring them to increase your wardrobe options.
