    What are Martial Arts in Where Winds Meet 

    Martial Arts in Where Winds Meet determines the play style you want for your character. They are basically the skills and move sets that are needed to utilize the weapons you have fully. They go hand in hand when you use them to fight enemies. 

    You can use the Weapons you unlock in the game without learning the Martial Arts, but you only have access to basic attacks. There are multiple ways to unlock Martial Arts. You can either join a Sect that teaches the Martial Arts, use Skill Theft from a master of a Sect, or receive it as a gift. The Sects in the game are scattered across the map, so you’ll have to explore it. It’s up to you how you want to obtain the Martial Arts skills.

    • Unlocked by using Skill Theft from the master in Midnight Mercy Sanctum.
    • Unlocked by joining the Midnight Mercy Sect.
    • Unlocked by obtaining it from Qi Sheng by submitting your first Oddity.

    Heavenquaker Spear
    • Unlocked by using Skill Theft from the master in Heavenquaker Spear Sanctum.
    • Unlocked by joining the Raging Tides Sect.

    Stormbreaker Spear
    • Unlocked by using Skill Theft from the master in Silver Needle Sanctum.
    • Unlocked via In-Game Mail.

    Panacea Fan
    • Unlocked by joining the Silver Needle Sect.
    • Unlocked by obtaining it from Qi Sheng by submitting your first Oddity.

    Inkwell Fan
    • Unlocked by using Skill Theft from the master in Inkwell Fan Sanctum.
    • Unlocked by joining the Silver Needle Sect.

    Soulshade Umbrella
    • Unlocked by using Skill Theft from the master in Soulshade Umbrella - Post Station.
    • Unlocked by joining the Hollow Vale Sect.

    Vernal Umbrella
    • Unlocked by using Skill Theft from the master in Time Tower.
    • Unlocked by obtaining it from Qi Sheng by submitting your first Oddity.

    Thundercry Blade
    • Unlocked by using Skill Theft from the master in Well of Heaven Martial Camp.
    • Unlocked by joining the Well of Heaven Sect.
    • Unlocked by obtaining it from Qi Sheng by submitting your first Oddity.

    Mortal Rope Dart
    • Unlocked by joining the Nine Mortal Ways Sect.
    • Unlocked by disguising yourself as a student and infiltrating the Nine Mortal Ways Sect.
