What Are Armor Sets
Armor Sets are basically the design of the armor of your Space Marine. Each Armor Set in the six classes will have their own unique designs. Thus, Assault Armor Sets may look totally different from Heavy Armor Sets. As players progress further into the game, they’ll be able to unlock the different armor sets through various challenges or missions.
How To Unlock Armor Sets
To unlock Armor Sets, players will first need to access their Armoring Hall and head to the Edit Armor section. Here, they’ll be able to see what Armor Sets they have unlocked. There are 6 Armor Sets that players can unlock and 8 to choose from. If players haven’t unlocked any, there’ll be a lock icon on the top right corner. But don’t worry, this menu will also tell players how to unlock the Armor Set. Most can be unlocked through playing Operations, which is the game’s PvE mode, and Eternal War, the game’s PvP mode.
Most of the objectives when it comes to unlocking Armor Sets are about achieving victories in these game modes. Players will need to complete the objectives for each Armor Set in their respective Class. This means if a player has unlocked the Master-Crafted Armor Set in their Tactical Class, they’ll have to complete the objective again for their Assault Class. Unlocking all the Armor Sets will take a lot of grinding in the multiplayer modes, so here are all the Armor Sets and how to unlock them.
Standard Issue (No Helmet)
The Standard Issue (No Helmet) Armor Set is a no-tier Armor Set that players have available by default. The unique aspect of the armor is that the player’s Space Marine is helmetless. This Armor Set is available for all classes.
Standard Issue
The Standard Issue Armor Set is also a no-tier Armor Set available for all classes by default. It’s the same Armor Set as the no helmet, but now the Space Marine has protection for its head.
Master-Crafted
The Master-Crafted Armor Set, just as its name suggests, is a Master-Crafted tier Armor Set that is available for all classes. The design of the armor set will vary for each Class, so it’s best to unlock them all to see the various design differences. To unlock this Armor Set, players will need to achieve victory in 7 Missions in Operations or 7 Matches in Eternal War.
Artificer Primus
The Artificer Primus Armor Set is an Artificer tier set that’s available for all classes. To unlock the Armor Set, players will need to achieve victory in 14 Missions in Operations or 14 Matches in Eternal War.
Artificer Secundus
The Artificer Secundus Armor Set is another Artificer tier set available for all classes. Players will need to achieve 21 victories in Operations or 21 wins in Eternal War.
Relic Primus
The Relic Primus Armor Set is a Relic tier Armor Set available for all 6 classes of Space Marine. To unlock the Armor Set, players must achieve victory in 28 Missions in Operations or 28 Matches in Eternal War.
Relic Secundus
The Relic Secundus Armor Set is also a Relic tier set that’s available for all the Space Marine Classes. To acquire the Armor Set, players will need to achieve 35 Mission victories in Operations or 35 Match Victories in Eternal War.
Ultramarines Champion
The Ultramarines Champion Armor Set is a Relic tier set that’s only available for the Heavy Class. This Armor Set can only be acquired by purchasing the Ultra Edition or Collector’s Edition of the game. The unique Armor Set cannot be customized in the Armoring Hall.
The Armor Sets are easily attainable if players have an excellent team to play with in Eternal War or Operations games, but it’ll take time for them to unlock all the sets for each Class. To quickly unlock all the Armor Sets, it’s best to grind matches or missions with friends or a team for better cooperation and team play, especially in Eternal War.
