Palworld Tides of Terraria Moon Lord Boss Guide

Palworld Tides of Terraria Moon Lord Boss Guide

The Moon Lord is a raid boss in Palworld’s Tides of Terraria update. The raid boss will be a formidable opponent for players. And, unlike your regular ole pals running around in the game, this boss can’t be caught. Instead, just like other Tides of Terraria bosses, you’ll receive plenty of rewards that can help with your adventures. Here’s a complete guide on Palworld’s Tides of Terraria Moon Lord Boss.

How to Summon the Moon Lord

Before you can start the raid with the Moon Lord, you'll need to prepare some items to summon it. You'll first need to craft the Celestial Sigil. To obtain the schematics for it, you'll need to head to the room past the Eye of Cthulhu in the Terraria Dungeon. After gathering the schematics, you can use a workbench to craft them. You’ll need 100 Hallowed Bars to craft the sigil, which can be found in the Overworld.

After crafting the Celestial Sigil, you need to craft a Summoning Altar to use it. The altar is used to initiate the Raid Boss battles. To craft the Summoning Altar, you'll need 100 Stone and 20 Paldium Fragments. The altar needs to be placed on a base for the Raid Battle to start.

Note: The Summoning Altar can only be used once. So, if you want to defeat other Raid Bosses from Tides of Terraria, gather plenty of extra materials.

Before attempting the Moon Lord Raid Boss, it’s recommended that you build a separate empty base where you can summon the Raid Boss. Since the Moon Lord has plenty of AoE attacks, it’s best to keep your valuables away from him. Thus, making a base solely for Raid Battles, where you can place a Summoning Altar, is the way to go.

Best Pals to Use in the Moon Lord Boss

Now that you’ve prepared how to summon the Moon Lord, you'll need to prep the Pals you’re going to use to defeat it. Here are some suggestions on which Pals to use in the Moon Lord Raid Boss Battle.

How to Defeat the Moon Lord

Now that you have all your gear, Pals, and items ready, here’s an in-depth guide on how to defeat the Moon Lord.

The Moon Lord is a Level 50 Raid Boss with 422,500 HP. It has no elemental types and cannot be caught like other Pal Raid Bosses. However, the Moon Lord has weaknesses that can be used to take it down quickly.

Attack the Three Eyes

To inflict damage on the Moon Lord, aim for its three eyes. One on the head and two on each hand. Each eye will have a separate health bar. Once all three are defeated, the heart will open, and you'll have your next target.

Watch Out for the True Eye of Cthulhu

After defeating the three eyes of the Moon Lord, the True Eye of Cthulhu will spawn and attack you and your Pals. Try to avoid its attacks since the True Eye of Cthulhu can’t be defeated.

Attack the Moon Lord’s Heart

After defeating the Eyes of the Moon Lord, it’s time to take out the Heart. Continuously aim for the heart to deplete its health and finally take down the Moon Lord.

Once you’ve defeated the Moon Lord, you’ll receive plenty of drops. Here’s a list of all the rewards you can get.

  • Moon Lord Mask
