Coal Ore Locations in Palworld 1.0
Coal is easy to find and is all over the Palpagos islands. Players can start finding coal as soon as they have access to the Bamboo Groves or Moonless Shore. Dungeons in these areas will also contain Coal Ore. Like most games, coal ore in Palworld resembles a dark, rough-looking rock.

Pal Metal Ingot is the first ingot to require electricity to produce. It's used to craft items well into the late game in Palworld. Other than being used to craft Pal Metal Tools and the Katana, it is also used to craft one of the best items in the whole game, the Plasma Multicutter. By this stage, most players will have an abundance of Ore. However, the real challenge is having a steady supply of Paldium Fragments.
Pure Quartz Locations in Palworld 1.0
Pure Quartz can be mined from several locations. It's often found in mountainous areas, most commonly in the Astral Mountains. However, it can also be found in earlier areas such as the Frostbound Mountains and their surroundings. In addition to making Pal Metal Ingots, Pure Quartz is also used to craft more exotic materials like Circuit Boards, which are used for tons of crafts later in the game.

It's mainly used as a crafting component for more exotic materials, such as Computers and several mid-to-late-game armor sets. Plasteel is also used alongside Pal Metal Ingots to produce a wide range of weapons and workstations.
How to get Crude Oil in Palworld 1.0
Getting crude oil can be a struggle at first. It requires either a Crude Oil Extractor or a High Pressure Crude Oil Extractor. Crude Oil nodes can be found in lots of mid-game areas, like the Dessicated Desert and several areas in Sakurajima Island and Feybreak Island. If digging for oil is not your thing, Crude Oil can also be found from chests and defeated enemies on all of the Syndicate Oil Rigs.

The first material not to use Ore is called Hexolite. This ingot can be difficult to obtain, as the game provides no clues or hints about how to obtain Chromite. Hexolite is used along with Coralum Ingots to make your first few endgame items, as well as several components used for producing endgame materials like Thermal Cores. Just like all the previous ingots, Hexolite is used to craft armor and, more importantly, Powerful Fishing Magnets.
How to get Chromite in Palworld 1.0
Obtaining Chromite is confusing at first. Most players endlessly farm Smokie's to get 1 or 2 pieces of Chromite. While a valid method, it is extremely inefficient and inhumane. To obtain Chromite, you must first craft a Metal Detector or catch a Smokie. Once crafted or caught, enter Feybreak dungeons. Inside the dungeon, hold the Metal Detector or explore the dungeon with a Smokie at your side. Your Metal Detector will start to make noise faster the closer you are to a chunk of Chromite. Once found, a small flag will appear atop the Chromite mound.
Hexolite Quartz locations in Palworld 1.0
Compared to Chromite, this material is found plastered all over Feybreak Island. Just walking around the surface of the island, you will spot large, shimmering, and rainbow-like crystals all over the place. Mine these with the Plasma Multicutter, and you now have access to Hexolite.

Coralum Ingots are used to make some of the best weapons in the game, like the Rocket Launcher. It's not used in any armor set, but it is the ingot required for several workstations, such as the Ancient Furnace. In addition to workstations and weapons, Coralum Ingots are required to unlock water bases. By unlocking and crafting the Aquatic Construction Kit, players can have their own fully functional surface water base.
How to get Coralum Ore in Palworld 1.0
Like Chromite, obtaining Coralum Ore can be confusing since there are only a few clues on where and how to obtain it. You cannot mine Coralum Ore; instead, you must craft several Powerful Fishing Magnets and use them to salvage floating debris around Feybreak Island.

Soralite Ore is found everywhere on Sunreach. It's a green rock with a distinct pattern that requires the Plasma Multicutter. To mine the ore, you must aim and hit the blue glowing spots or the weakspots; otherwise, the ore just won't be obtainable.

As the pinnacle material, Paloxite Ingots are extremely difficult to obtain. However, getting access to this ingot lets you craft Jetragon's Missile Launchers, Wing Pack, and other endgame workstations.
How to mine Paloxite in Palworld 1.0
Entering the World Tree is like playing a whole new game. All the Pals are so much more powerful, and the area has very unique mechanics not found anywhere else. Spotting Paloxite is easy; it's several purple or reddish crystals growing on a rock. However, obtaining the ore has a caveat: the player must be affected by World Tree Holy Water. If the player attempts to mine the ore without the effect, it will simply disappear. Make sure to drink the World Tree Holy Water before mining; also, the effect only lasts for 30 seconds. Pals with the God of Destruction can also prevent the ore from disappearing.
