How to get Paladius and Necromus
These two centaur-like Pals can be found on the northern edge of the Deep Sand Dunes. They spawn as overworld Alpha Boss Pals and attack in tandem. Paladius and Necromus spawn as high-level pals at Level 60, so it's strongly recommended to use Legendary Spheres to make them easier to catch.
Weapons and Armor
For weapons and armor, it's recommended to enter the fight with Pal Metal Armor and Helmet, with resistances that vary over time. If you are challenging the duo at night, bring the Cold-Resistant Pal Metal Armor; during the day, bring the Heat-Resistant Pal Metal Armor. Bring whichever weapon you are comfortable with using; the Assault Rifle is a great overall weapon for bosses thanks to its fire rate and damage.
Strategy
Fighting both of these Pals at once is difficult. It is highly recommended to focus your efforts on one of them rather than splitting the effort. Make sure to bring Dragon- and Dark-element Pals so your attacks will be super effective.
How to get Frostallion and Frostallion Noct
Across the ocean, Frostallion waits at the peak of the Land of Absolute Zero, and Frostallion Noct at Feybreak Island. These Legendary pals are among the best mounts in the game and are amazing in battle. They both spawn as overworld Alpha Boss Pals, and both are encountered at Level 60. At a minimum, use Legendary Spheres, but if you have access to higher-tier spheres like Ultimate, all the better.
Weapons and Armor
While not as difficult as Paladius and Necromus, this fight still requires the right gear. Equip Cold Resistant Pal Metal Armor and Helmet when fighting Frostallion. Since Frostallion is mainly an Ice element, bringing fire-element pals like Blazamut and Suzaku is a big help. They keep you warm while also dealing massive damage to Frostallion.
Strategy
Frostallion is not a difficult fight if the freezing environment does not debilitate you. It's strongly recommended to have multiple fire element pals in your party. Blazamut with the brand new Moldron is a strong combo. Once you have Frostallion, you can breed it with Helzephyr to easily get Frostallion Noct.
How to get Jetragon
Jetragon is an extremely powerful Pal and is widely considered one of the best flying mounts. The 1.0 update moved him all the way to Sunreach. Because of this change, he is accessed much later in the game. Jetragon spawns only as an Alpha Boss Pal and at a whopping Level 70. By the time you can access Sunreach, you will also have access to Ancient Spheres. Make sure to use these spheres to have the best chance at catching Jetragon.
Weapons and Armor
Jetragon is primarily a dragon type but also uses many fire-type moves. At a minimum, bring Heat-Resistant Hexolite Armor or Epic+ Heat-Resistant Plasteel Armor. For weapons, bring the Rocket Launcher or whichever weapon you are comfortable with. Although using any shotgun is strongly discouraged due to range limitations.
Strategy
Bringing a full team of Ice-element pals is a must for facing off with Jetragon. Pals like Frostallion, Sibelyx, and Mammorest Cryst are great picks for this fight. You'll want to make the most of your pals, letting them soak up most of the damage while you poke at Jetragon and avoid taking damage.
How to get Neptilius
Neptilius is a tanky water pal and is considered to be among the best when it comes to swimming pals. It is found on the Isle of the Glacial Core at Level 60. While great as a combat Pal and a mount, Neptilius is practically redundant as a base Pal. At a minimum, use Legendary Spheres to make it easier to catch this Pal.
Weapons and Armor
Like most bosses in cold areas, Cold Resistant Pal Metal Armor is important for survival in such environments. Water element bosses are also known to use Ice element moves occasionally, so armor with cold resistance greatly helps with survivability. If you are unsure which weapon to use, the Assault Rifle is a great choice, with any Shotgun as a backup.
Strategy
Electric element pals are the way to go. Since Neptilius is a pure water-element pal, a full team of Electric pals can make quick work of this titan of the ocean. Pals like Grizzbolt, Relaxarus Lux, and others essentially turn the fight into a cakewalk.
