Varlamore: The Final Dawn has added numerous new content updates to complete in OSRS. One Quest that has gained popularity among the community is the Scrambled! Quest. It's a short quest where you must care for a pet egg, Humpty Dumpty. If you'd like to try it out, here's a guide for the Scrambled! Quest in OSRS Varlamore.
Scrambled! Quest Requirements
Before you can take on the Scrambled! Quest, you need to have the following Quest Requirements.
- Completed the Children of the Sun Quest
- 38 Construction
- 36 Cooking
- 35 Smithing
Items Required
Aside from Quest Requirements, there are items you need to acquire for the Scrambled! Quest. Luckily, most of the items can be obtained in the Quest. Here are the items you need.
- Bowl of water
- 2 Planks
- 6 Nails
- Saw
- Hammer
- Gear to fight against mobs
Scrambled! Quest Walkthrough
The Scrambled! Quest may be short, but you have a lot of tasks to accomplish within it. To begin the Quest, you need to talk to Alan in the Tal Teok Temple in Tal Teklan. Here's the walkthrough of the Scrambled! Quest.
- Talk to Alan. He's located at the Tal Teok Temple north of Tal Teklan.
- Talk to Alan again.
A cutscene will play out where Humpty Dumpty falls from the wall and breaks. So, now you need to find a replacement for the Egg.
- Inspect the Egg and talk to the Bartender King.
- Talk to the Bartender King, who's located in the Pub at the south of the pyramid.
The bartender will help you if you help gather his men, who all have problems that they need to fix. Nezketi will be the first person you help out.
- Talk to Nezketi. They're located in the southern section of Tal Teklan. They'll assign a few tasks to complete, and here are the tasks you'll need to complete.
- Pick Damiana leaves. The Damiana Bush is located southeast of Tal Teklan.
- Use the Damiana Leaves and add to a Bowl of Water. You can get it from a shop or the Bartender King's Pub.
- Boil the Damiana water in the Oven in the East Building.
- Add Damiana tea to an Empty Tea Cup.
- Return to Nezketi and speak with them.
After obtaining Nezketi's Damiana Tea, head to Kuayotl to help him with his broken Cart.
- Talk to Kauayotl, who's located at the East Entrance of Tal Teklan.
- You'll be given the task to repair the Cart where you'll need: a Saw, Hammer, 2 Planks, and 6 Nails.
- Search the Blacksmith's workbench for nails in the west section of Tal Teklan.
- Get the hammer that spawns on the south-west table in the Blacksmith's forge.
- Get the saw that spawns on the southeast table in the archery shop, directly south of the Blacksmith.
- Obtain the two planks that spawn a short distance south of the Cart, directly south of the broken rowboat.
- Once you have all the materials, you can repair the Cart.
- After repairing the Cart, return to Kauayotl and speak with them.
After repairing the Cart, you now have 2 men who can help you. Head to Acatzin to help him fix his Axe.
- Talk to Acatzin in the Bartender King's Pub.
- Talk to the Blacksmith who's west of the Pub.
- Repair Whetstone with a Hammer.
- Talk to Blacksmith again.
- Repair Axe on Whetstone.
- Head back to Acatzin and talk to them.
Now that you've helped all of King's Men, head back to the Temple that's North of Tal Teklan and talk to any of King's Men. They're going to help you find a replacement for Humpty Dumpty.
You'll look for three types of eggs: a Large Egg, a Jaguar Egg, and a Dragon Egg. The first Egg you'll search for is the Large Egg, which is located at the farm north of the Tal Teklan.
- Search for the Large Egg on the Farm.
- Defeat the Large Chicken and continue searching for the Large Egg.
Once you find the Large Egg, head to the Tlati Rainforest at the shore of the Varla River to look for Jaguar Eggs.
- Search for the Jaguar Egg.
- Defeat Black Jaguar and continue searching for the Jaguar Egg.
Once you've found the Jaguar egg, you'll need to gather one more Egg from the Red Dragons. They're located at the Dragon Nest, southeast of the Temple.
- Search for the Dragon Egg.
- Defeat the Red Dragon and find the Dragon Egg.
Once you've found the Dragon Egg, head back to the Temple where you first met Alan. Then talk to each of King's Men. A cutscene will play where all three eggs are gathered on top of the wall, and each one falls. After breaking all three replacement eggs, you'll need to solve Humpty Dumpty's Jigsaw Puzzle.
Put together Humpty Dumpty, and you complete the Quest. Another cutscene will play where Alan will thank you for taking care of Humpty Dumpty and head out of the Temple, then accidentally falls from the Temple and dies, just like his pet egg.
Scrambled! Quest Rewards
After completing the Scrambled! Quest, you get the following rewards.
- 1 Quest point
- 5000 Construction experience
- 5000 Cooking experience
- 5000 Smithing experience
Aside from the rewards, you also get your own pet egg that you can place in your Pet House. Alan's bones can also be picked up south of the Temple, if you need to use them.
