Version 1.021 of Monster Hunter Wilds has brought in some notable changes to the Bubbly Dance set bonus, the War Cry set bonus, Powerhouse, Burst Boost, Affinity Sliding, Shock Absorber and Ballistics. This list shows every balance change made to these skills, so you can stay on top in terms of meta.
Bubbly Dance Changes
The Bubbly Dance set first and second set bonus have been swapped:
Before Adjustment:
- Bubbly Dance I: Prevented major bubbleblight and increased evasion while afflicted with bubbleblight.
- Bubbly Dance II: In addition to previous effects, it also granted minor bubbleblight after evading several times.
After Adjustment:
- Bubbly Dance I: Prevents major bubbleblight and grants minor bubbleblight after evading several times.
- Bubbly Dance II: In addition to previous effects, it also increases evasion while afflicted with bubbleblight. This evasion boost has also been increased.
War Cry Changes
- The War Cry skill was previously overidden by more powerful attack buffs like Demon Powder due to a bug, but this change now allows for the War Cry buff to stack with other attack buffs properly.
Powerhouse Changes
- Like the War Cry set bonus, Powerhouse suffered a bug where it couldn't stack with other attack buffs. This has been fixed so that it's now stackable with other buffs.
Burst Boost Change
- Effects of the set bonus skill Burst Boost have been increased.
Affinity Sliding Change
- Buff duration for Affinity Sliding has been increased for better uptime.
Shock Absorber Change
- While Shock Absorber is active, blocking an allied attack will no longer trigger any block effects (i.e. Offensive Guard)
Ballistic Changes
- The Ballistic skill has been adjusted to give increased range for Normal, Pierce, and Spread ammo.
- Level 2 Ballistics now make Normal and Spread shots effective at point-blank range (0 meters).
