Last Epoch Season 4 Best Builds: Shattered Omens Meta Guide (2026)

Last Epoch Season 4: Shattered Omens has finally been released. The update has shaken the meta with the introduction of new Rogue Skills and the Rune of Corruption crafting mechanic. As well as a rework to the Spellblade and Bladedancer trees. With the recent changes, your current character builds may be outdated. To help you out, here’s a guide on the best builds in Last Epoch Season 4.

Shadow Rend Bladedancer Build in Last Epoch Season 4

The Shadow Rend Bladedancer build is a high-speed melee assassin that creates and detonates shadows for massive physical damage bursts. It’s meant for players who enjoy high-mobility combat. It excels at clearing maps quickly, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Here’s what you need for this build.

Core Skill Tree Focus

Shadow Rend: This will be your primary finisher. By speccing into Umbral Remnant, your shadows leave behind Umbral Blades when they expire or are consumed. This allows you to deal massive damage even after you’ve stopped attacking.

Synchronized Strike: This is your shadow generator. In Season 4, the Shadow Dancing node was buffed to give a 50% more damage multiplier. You use this to instantly create a full stack of shadows before unleashing Shadow Rend.

Shift: This is for your mobility. You spec into Swift Recovery for 16 mana gain on use, which is critical because Shadow Rend and Synchronized Strike are very mana-heavy. It also grants Shadowslip, making you briefly invincible.

Umbral Blades: These are automatically activated. You don't cast them manually; they spawn from your shadows. By speccing into Explosive Blades, these daggers detonate for area damage, clearing the screen while you focus on the boss.

Gear and Stats

Weapon: Dual-Wield Daggers (Kris Base): Daggers provide high base critical strike chance. Since the build relies on Shadow Rend crit-stacking, these are needed for reaching the 100% crit cap.

Key Unique: Architects of Astral Blood (Unique): This item enables the Low Life setup. It gives Ward based on your missing health, making you much tankier than a standard health-based Rogue.

Stat Priority: Dexterity and Crit Multiplier: Dexterity provides both damage and Dodge Rating. Crit Multiplier is your main damage lever because Shadow Rend has high built-in More Damage multipliers that scale exponentially with critical hits.

Ballista Falconer Build in Last Epoch Season 4

The Ballista Falconer build is all about being tactical with your attacks. It uses Explosive Traps to summon an army of turrets. The setup allows you to focus on dodging boss mechanics while your minions and Falcon handle the offense. It’s considered the safest way to push into the highest corruption levels in the endgame stages. Here’s what you need for this build.

Core Skill Tree Focus

Explosive Trap: You spec this to have a 0 Mana Cost via the Sky Signal node. This allows you to spam traps, which, through the Armed Construction node, automatically summon your Ballistas.

Ballista: This provides your Falcon Strikes ability. You use this to instantly kill enemies below 15% health, which is vital for ending long boss fights quickly.

Falconry: Take Trained to Hunt and Go For the Eyes! so the Falcon inherits your critical strike stats.

Aerial Assault: This is your traversal tool. It teleports your minions (Ballistas) to your new location, ensuring your damage setup follows you as you move through the map.

Gear and Stats

Weapon: Uethrin’s Stand (Bow): This bow increases your maximum Ballista count. More Ballistas equal more total Bolts per second, which is the primary way the build scales into high corruption.

Key Unique: Mourningfrost (Boots): These boots add massive Flat Cold Damage to your attacks and minions based on your Dexterity. Since you stack Dexterity for Dodge, this provides a double increase in value.

Stat Priority: Dexterity and Intelligence: Dexterity scales the damage and speed of Ballistas. Intelligence is used for the Tactician node in the Aerial Assault tree, which adds a multiplicative damage bonus.

Torment Warlock Build in Last Epoch Season 4

The Torment Warlock build is a necromancy powerhouse that makes you feel immortal thanks to the massive Ward generation and layers of defense. It uses Chthonic Fissure to release spirits that hunt enemies while you remain protected behind a magical shield. This build is meant for players who want to tank the most difficult bosses with no risks. Here’s what you need for this build.

Core Skill Tree Focus

Chthonic Fissure: This creates a literal hole in the ground that releases Spirits. These spirits apply Torment, a necrotic damage-over-time curse that is the core of your DPS.

Profane Veil: This is your primary defense. While channeling, you are essentially invincible. In Season 4, you spec into Stream of Oblivion, which converts your mana into massive amounts of Ward every second you channel.

Rip Blood: This is your build’s mana engine. Through the Arcane Absorption node, hitting enemies with Rip Blood grants you flat spell damage and returns mana, keeping your Fissure active.

Bone Curse: You spec this into Signet of Agony, turning it into a permanent aura. This means any enemy that gets near you is automatically cursed, triggering your Warlock passive damage bonuses without you needing to aim.

Gear and Stats

Weapon: Marina’s Lost Soul (Wand): This is the best-in-slot weapon. It provides a huge boost to Necrotic Damage and Cast Speed, both of which increase how many Torment stacks your spirits apply.

Key Unique: Boneclamor Barbute (Helmet): This is the build’s Ward Engine. It grants Ward per second based on your Uncapped Necrotic Resistance. By stacking Necrotic Resistance way past the 75% cap, you become nearly unkillable.

Stat Priority: Intelligence and Necrotic Resistance: Intelligence scales all your necrotic spells and your Ward Retention. Necrotic Resistance is purely for the synergy with your helmet to boost your effective health.
