Five Classes
There are five classes to choose from in Last Epoch: Sentinel, Mage, Acolyte, Primalist, and Rogue.
The Sentinel is the usual warrior class players can see in other ARPGs or MMOs, with many support abilities that further enhance their survivability. This class can be played with dual-wielding weapons or shields, making it the perfect choice for various playstyles. Once buyers unlock its Mastery, they can specialize in Physical Damage, Void Damage, or summoning minions. Sentinels are one of the most resistant characters in the game.
The Mage can harness the arcane forces to bend reality. Specializing in runes and elemental magic, the class can quickly clear mobs. Unlocking the Mastery for this class enables players to deal heavy AoE damage. They can also equip a sword and shield, imbuing the weapon with magic.
Anyone who wants to become a master of dark magic should look no further than the Acolyte class. As a Necromancer, they can use corpses as pawns and have an army of undead. The Acolyte can also use Necrotic and Poison damage to curse enemies. As gamers unlock the Mastery for it, the class can spec into the Lich or Warlock.
One of the more adaptive classes on the list is the Primalist. With beast-form transformations and totems, they have high endurance and defense. Players who choose to become a Primalist will have companions and totems that can provide damage buffs and support. Being able to transform into multiple beast forms is also another plus.
Finally, the Rogue is the typical assassin class specializing in attacking from the shadows using nimble weapons like the bow. Players can act as ninjas in some ways since the Rogue’s playstyle revolves around using shurikens, poison, and bombs. Strike foes from behind and become a master in trapping!
Last Epoch’s Max Level Cap
Like other games in the ARPG genre, Last Epoch’s max level is 100. The game has no experience penalties that’ll hinder one’s progress, so there’s no rush in trying to reach the level cap. If buyers don’t want to get an account already at level 100, they’ll have to spend around 70 hours to reach their goal, which can become shorter if they’re much more knowledgeable about the game.

Can You Change Your Class?
A character’s class is one of the few things players can’t change in Last Epoch. If they want to pick a different class, they must start a new playthrough again. With that in mind, buyers must pick an account with their preferred class.
What Are Masteries?
Masteries are the different subclasses into which players can specialize their characters. Each class has three Masteries available, providing gamers with various playstyles depending on their preferences. Each Mastery has its skill tree that they can put points into while leveling up.
Can You Change Your Mastery?
There’s no way for players to change their Mastery in Last Epoch. Once buyers choose the campaign, they won’t be able to change their decision. They’ll need to reroll to experience another Mastery for their class fully.
