DK Bananza: How To Access Secret Boss Rush Mode

DK Bananza bosses are a fun highlight in the game and give out a lot of rewards, like extra Bananas. However, there is a way to not only rechallenge every boss in DK Bananza but also fight them in sequence in a boss rush arena. Since this mode is somewhat hidden, this guide will help you find the boss rush mode and take on the Baboomtown Restoration Project

Boss Rush Accessible In Post-Game

In order to access the Baboomtown Restoration Project, you’ll need to beat the game. This means beating King K. Rool, King of Rot. Once you’ve cleared it, you regain access to the Ingot Isle Cave-In in SL10.

Entering Boss Rush Mode

To get started with this mode, speak to Grumpy Kong, and he’ll tell you about the Baboombtown Restoration Project. You must pay him 10,000 Gold to enter this mode. You can also unlock Battle Rush mode with Grumpy for 5,000 Gold.

Boss Rush Structure

Before each fight, you get an Apple Gem to restore your health, a Melon Gem to fill up your Bananium meter, and a Banana Gem. There are over five bosses in this mode that you need to defeat.

List of Bosses

Here are all the bosses you’ll be facing in this mode:

  • Infalmmonite
  • Abracajabya
  • Sinister Blusterwing
  • Muckety-Muck
  • Stompenclomper

🍌Note: Grumpy Kong, Poppy Kong, Void Kong, and King K. Rool are not rematchable.

Boss Rush Rewards

Each boss you beat gives you a Bananium Gem, as well as a chance to build a golden statue of Donkey Kong. Once you beat both this mode and Battle Rush mode, you can pay Grumpy Kong 120,000 Gold for Ingot Isle to be complete. You can also obtain the Invisibility Tie that turns Donkey Kong transparent, though enemies and allies can still see you while you wear this.
