Every playable Guardian in Destiny: Rising has an affinity for either Arc, Solar, or Void. Weapon Rarity Types
Destiny: Rising provides players with access to a variety of weapons of different rarities. Currently, Legendary weapons are the standard and are randomly rolled with 2 perks. Some Legendary perks are suited for PvE, such as Explosive Payload for Primary weapons and Auto Loading Holster for Special and Heavy weapons. Others like Dynamic Sway Reduction, Opening Shot and Eye of the Storm are best used in PvP.
Mythic weapons are similar to Legendary weapons, but offer far more powerful perks that are guaranteed to be in the weapon, as well as other Legendary perks. These are 5-star weapons and make great filler options for any loadout.
However, the most powerful weapon rarity in Destiny: Rising is Exotic weapons. Not only do they have stat differences that make them superior to Legendary weapons, but they also have unique mechanics that make them fun to use. One of the top-tier Exotics in Destiny: Rising, Polaris Lance, inflicts scorch after every 4th precision hit. This weapon can deal solid damage against most enemies and applies a debuff that Solar characters can use.
