Destiny: Rising requires players to reach a certain Power level to take less damage while dealing more damage in endgame activities. To get more Power, players will need weapons, relics, and artifacts with high Power values. The grind for reaching Gauntlet Ops can be lengthy, but players can always buy a powerleveling service from others to reach the maximum Power cap and start farming for godroll guns.

How Does Power Work?

While players can obtain Power by leveling their selected Guardian, that won’t be enough to reach the Power cap. One major source of Power comes from their gear, relics, and artifacts. Each of these is leveled separately and requires completing mid-game activities like Strikes to earn gear with higher Power. These are called Pinnacle rewards and can only be claimed while a player has Pinnacle Energy, which recharges daily.

If a player were to complete an activity without Pinnacle Energy, they would only get basic rewards that match their current Power level. For weapons with low power but that have god-rolled perks or a strong Exotic trait, players will need to use Enhancement Prisms. These items allow a player to transfer Power from a Pinnacle item into their favorite guns.

How To Get More Power

Every activity in Destiny: Rising has a Power requirement. As players start doing more difficult activities, the Power level requirement increases. One of the most rewarding activities, Gauntlet Ops, has the highest barrier to entry, needing at least 55k Power to survive any encounter on Normal difficulty.

Tackling an activity with low Power causes enemies to be extremely resistant to damage while dealing extremely high damage to low Power players.
