All Medicine Formula List and Location
Medicine is an in-game consumable that you can pop before and during battle. Some provide HP recovery, while others offer combat enhancements to augment your battle prowess. While most of these can be bought from specific NPCs, it is much more sustainable and efficient if you can craft them by yourself.
However, it would help if you learned the recipes for these concoctions before you craft and use them. You can get the formulas for these things in various ways, like buying or discovering them in containers. Here are all the Black Myth Wukong Medicines and their location:
Mythical - Soul Remigration Pill
- What it Does: Resurrects the user upon death and then activates a Life Saving Strand for a long duration
- How to Get: Buy it from Xu Dog in NG+
Legendary - Septenary Heartfire Pill

- How to Get: Go to the closest Shrine in Bishui Cave and then the Purge Pit. You’ll need to backtrack and try to jump on the ledge right next to the Shrine.

How to Unlock Medicine Crafting in Black Myth: Wukong
You won’t be able to unlock Medicine Crafting immediately since you’ll need to reach a particular milestone first. You’ll have to complete Xu Dog’s quest in Chapter 2, which automatically opens up the option for you to create your concoctions. You can find this NPC near the Sandgate Village/Village Entrance Shrine.
The quest requires you to fight the miniboss Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw, who ate one of Xu Dog’s formulas. This fight is similar to the frog boss you fought back in Chapter 1, so watch out for its mid-range tongue attack. The only difference between this one and Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang is that it casts lightning-imbued spells. Once you defeat the frog and get the Evil Repelling Medicament Formula, return to Xu Dog to unlock the Medicine Crafting function. Afterward, you can craft consumables from any Shrine or with Xu Dog.
