First Wave Caches are the latest addition to ARC Raider's Shrouded Sky update. These are loot boxes that you can encounter in maps with the Hurricane condition. While trying to survive the storms, you can have a chance at getting high-quality items. If you want to know where to find the caches, here's a guide.
What are First Wave Caches in ARC Raiders
First Wave Caches are loot containers you can find in any map with the Hurricane condition. These caches differ from Unearthed Caches, as they are larger and contain high-rarity items. The high winds from the Hurricane event physically unearth First Wave Caches. The caches may contain purple blueprints, premium mods, or high-quality healing items. So, if you want to farm for good loot, try locating First Wave Caches.
How to Find First Wave Caches in ARC Raiders
Finding First Wave Caches is difficult since they don't have a fixed spawn location. You'll have to rely on visual and audio cues to find them. Here are some tips for finding them.
- The Ticking Sound: As you get closer to a cache, you will hear a high-pitched, rhythmic beeping. It grows faster and louder the closer you get.
- The HUD Icon: When you are within ~20 meters, a Red Signal Icon will appear on your UI, pointing toward the ground.
- Physical Appearance: They look like silver or brownish "relic" suitcases partially buried in the dirt or sand.
First Wave Caches in Primary Spawn Zones
Aside from sound and visual cues, First Wave Caches spawn within a radius around high-activity landmarks. So, if you are in any of those areas, you'll have a higher chance of finding caches. Here are all possible primary spawn zones for each map in ARC Raider.
