Apollo's To the Skies quest in ARC Raiders may seem like a simple mission, but it can easily take multiple raids if you don't prepare properly. In the To the Skies Quest, Apollo tasks you with repairing a prototype gondola meant to transport raiders up to Pendola Pass. Before you jump into a raid, check your stash at Speranza for the components you need to save time arming on the surface. Here's what you need to repair the prototype:
- 1x ARC Performance Steel: Salvaged from heavy ARC units like Bastions, Bombardiers, Leapers, or Baron Husks.
- 1x ARC Pop Trigger: Dropped by small exploding Pop robots or harvested from crashed ARC Couriers.
- 1x ARC Thermo Lining: Salvaged from Pops, Fireballs, or Baron Husks.
- 1x ARC Synthetic Resin: Found in intact ARC Probes, Baron Husks, Hornets, or Shredders.
For efficiency, target Baron Husks. One breach can yield ARC Performance Steel, ARC Thermo Lining, and ARC Synthetic Resin at once.
Step 1: Scan a Crashed ARC Probe and Courier
Before you can interact with the Gondola Prototype, scan an ARC Probe and an ARC Courier. These objectives can be done in any order on any map.
- How to Find Them: Watch the horizon for rising plumes of black smoke. Once you get close enough, an icon will appear on your map.
- How to Scan: Approach the head of the crashed wreck and interact with the prompt. Clear nearby enemies first so you aren't caught off guard while stationary.
It's best to deploy during an Electromagnetic Storm event, since it significantly increases the spawn rate of the crashed ARC machines, making it easier to finish both scans in one run. Also, don't forget to pick up the ARC Pop Trigger that Couriers drop; you'll need it in the repair phase.
Step 2: Find the Gondola Prototype Location

Spaceports is the best choice if you want to finish the quest quickly, since the prototype sits near the eastern exfil elevator.
Step 3: Repair and Activate the Gondola Prototype
When you reach the Gondola Prototype, interact with it and install the four components:

- Install ARC Thermo Lining
- Install ARC Synthetic Resin
After installing all four items, hit the activation prompts. After activation, step back a few steps; the gondola will power up and explode. The explosion is the intended outcome of the quest.

Once the Gondola explodes, the quest is marked as completed. Extract safely back to Speranza and claim your rewards from Apollo. Here are the rewards you'll receive:
