PlayerAuctions inspects the seller’s game account and documents a snapshot of the game account condition before sending the game account information to the buyer. In the rare event that the buyer raises a dispute claiming that the game account was not delivered as described in the For Sale Offer at PlayerAuctions, we strongly encourage the buyer and seller to work together to settle the problem through the PlayerAuctions Dispute Resolution System which allows a price renegotiation agreement to be reached where a percentage of the order price is refunded to the buyer.
In the event that the buyer and seller cannot reach an agreement using the PlayerAuctions Dispute Resolution System, PlayerAuctions will thoroughly investigate the validity of the buyer’s claim through the previously captured snapshot. If PlayerAuctions finds the buyer’s claim to be invalid, the order will be successfully closed and disbursement will be sent to the seller. If PlayerAuctions finds the buyer’s claim to be valid, PlayerAuctions will take steps to securely return game account ownership from the buyer to the seller before the buyer’s payment is refunded.
To ensure that no damage was done to the game account during the time the buyer held ownership of it, PlayerAuctions will require the buyer to return ownership of the game account to PlayerAuctions. At this time, PlayerAuctions will again inspect the game account and document a second snapshot of the game account condition before returning ownership back to the seller. The seller will then be provided 72 hours to report to PlayerAuctions if any damages have occurred. During this time, PlayerAuctions will continue to securely hold the buyer’s payment.
In the exceptional event that during the seller’s 72 hour game account inspection period, the seller finds that damage had been done to the game account while it was in possession of the buyer, the seller should immediately raise a dispute by reporting the details of the damage to PlayerAuctions. PlayerAuctions will then compare both snapshots of the game account’s condition and will be able to conclusively identify if damage had occurred during the buyer’s game account inspection period. If PlayerAuctions finds that damage did occur during the buyer’s game account inspection period, then PlayerAuctions will assess judgment of a fair value for the damage done, deducting it from the buyer’s refund to be disbursed to the seller. |
