Flying is a key feature in Where Winds Meet that many players haven’t unlocked yet. There are several ways to soar through the sky in this MMO, and they’re all under the Movement – Lightless Skill category. This guide will show players how to fly in Where Winds Meet.
Four Flying Skills in Where Winds Meet
Players can fly using four different Lightless Skills, and they all have various animations and mechanics. Each of them is unlocked through various means, though some are easier to obtain. Here are all the Lightless Flight Skills in Where Winds Meet:
- Meteor Flight
- Thousand-Mile Flight
- Fan Glider
- Wind Rider
📌Note: You can learn about these skills by opening the Develop Interface in Settings. Go to Abilities and then navigate to the Mystic Skills. Look for the Movement tab, and it will show you all four Lightless Skills for flying.
How to Unlock Flying (All Lightless Skills)
Each flight method requires different unlocking steps, and some will take longer than others. Fortunately, two of them can be obtained within three days, so you can easily unlock flying early in the game. Here's how you unlock all Lightless Skills for Flying:
- Meteor Flight: This is the first flight skill that you’ll unlock, and all you need to do is complete the Afterglow Jianghu Legacy quest.
- Thousand-Mile Flight: Log in for four days and receive it as a reward in the A Warrior’s Journey Track
- Fan Glider: Reach 6000 Qinghe Exploration Points
- Wind Rider: Reach 7000 Qinghe Exploration Points
📌Note: You can start the Afterglow quest by heading into your Jianghu Legacy tab via your Journal and selecting the fifth quest on the list. You start the quest after talking to a martial master disguised as an ordinary fisherman near Moonveil Mountain.
You can only fly in regions that you’ve obtained the Afterglow Pendant from, which you can get by reaching Qinghe Exploration Level 4 in each place.
