If you want your Red Dead Redemption 2 Accounts to sell, it’d better be packed with lots of goodies. So here, we’re going to show you just what items you could get and farm in order for your RDR2 Accounts to become highly-lucrative!
Throughout the game, you’ve probably chanced upon wanted posters in the Sheriff’s Offices and Post Offices. When picking up the posting, you’ll be able to retrieve criminals and deliver them to a sheriff for a relatively easy pay. For your trouble, you’ll get about $25 to $100 depending on the hostility and danger of the wanted criminals.
Farming Gold Bars is a fast and easy way to earn money in Red Dead Redemption. Since they’re so valuable, you can rarely see them out in the wild. Each gold bar is worth $500. If you’re planning to sell those gold bars, you must first complete The Spines of America mission since it unlocks your first ever fence. The fence is the only vendor that you can sell gold bars to.
To find some gold bars, here are some locations that you can go to so you can salvage as many of them as you can. The first stop is Limpany, the ruined town in The Heartlands, New Hanover just over south of Horseshoe Overlook. This location is home to not only one, but two valuable items. Visit the Sherriff’s building and take a left to walk around the desk that looks like it has served as a sort of reception desk at one point before the town was burned to the ground. Inside the desk, you’ll find the first valuable item which is a lockbox, with the second item being the gold bar beside it.
Just near Cotorra Springs, there’s a ravine with a wrecked train lying at the bottom. It’s a bit difficult to get into since you’ll have to do some tricky Cliffside navigation just to make it inside the train. Once inside, though, you’ll be greeted with two gold bars so the trekking will be worth it!
And lastly, if you really want to hit a homerun, there’s a creepy room with statues that’s home to three gold bars! Besides the room with the statues, there’s a painting away from the cave that provides some details to help you solve the puzzle. You can find this painting at Window Rock, north of Cumberland Forest. From there, you can walk beneath the overhand to find the painting and add it to your journal for reference. The cave with the statues in question is on the east side of Donner Falls and northeast of Bacchus Station. You’ll be able to find a hillside with rocks right off the road, walk in between the rocks to find a small entrance to a cave. You will find the statues inside. If you wish to attempt solving the puzzle now, go for it! You already have everything to help you; all you’ll need to do is think thoroughly on the solution of the puzzle in the statue room. Once you’ve solved the puzzle, you’ll be greeted with some shiny gold bars!
To earn a respectable amount of money, you’re going to have to do a lot of hunting aside from the usual rabbits. The first tip would be to use the right weapon when you’re hunting, if you use the wrong one, you’ll end up damaging the pelt of the animal. Let’s say if you decided to shoot a squirrel with a shotgun, the pelt isn’t going to be exactly in perfect condition. This is important because Perfect Pelts are worth more than good or altogether poor pelts. Entire carcasses are worth more than twice what a perfect pelt is, so it’s vital to do a one-shot kill as much as possible to not lower the quality of the carcass. Prey such as bears, wolves, and alligators provide a lot of income—especially if they’re legendary animals. While it’s risky, the rewards you’ll be reaping make all the trouble you’ll be getting into worth it in the end.
